"Kam-Kam," Daso whispered, trying to keep the cheerfulness in his voice, "I got ya. Even if you are okay. I've still got ya." He held him closer, heading towards the infirmary.

Did he deserve this? His friends helping him, taking care of him, when he was a murderer? An idiot that couldn't run fast enough to save someone's life? Kameo gave in to the arms of fire and he let them pull him to hell.

"And he's out again," Cicada sighed.

Joanna watched them take Kameo down the hall before turning back to the kitchen and taking Kameo's pizza out of the oven. "Anything I can get you Cap?"

"Nothing right now. Thanks Jo-Jo." Leah replied, sitting down in one of the chairs. She took her hat off, letting her windblown hair fall around her face.

Morrigan stayed silent, intense wrry for Kameo shadowing her eyes. Poor man…..

"What about you Morrigan?"

Daso lowered Kameo onto one of the cots in the infirmary. He glanced down at his face. Even in his sleep, he looked troubled. Clenching his teeth to keep tears from forming in his eyes, Daso smiled a tight smile. "He'll be okay," he whispered, mostly to himself.

"He will be," Cicada had followed Daso to the infirmary, "I can stay here and wait for him to wake up."

"What about you Morrigan?"

Morrigan was torn from her reverie. “Pardon?”

Daso nodded. "Right." He didn't leave right away, still watching Kameo. "I just hate that he blames himself for Ace. He did everything he could. It's not fair that he thinks he's a murderer for trying to help someone."

"Do you need anything? I can whip up some Hot Chocolate if needed."

"It's just grief getting to him," Cicada sighed, "When my crew died I thought of a hundred different ways i could have saved them, but the past is the past and I've come to except that. And so will he."
