"Ah, well… things got kinda interrupted when we talked the other day, just as you arrived." Jade tilted her head a bit, smiling slightly. "I just wanted to properly introduce myself. So… hi. I'm Jade."

"Ohh right!" Zia smiled. "Nice to…remeet you?" She shrugged, laughing softly. She curtseyed slightly. "I'm Zia."

"Yeah." Jade laughed too. "Nice to remeet you. How are you?"

"I'm good, what about you?" She asked with a small smile.

"Indeed," Zaera allowed herself to be spun once again, "If we meet those expectations is yet to be seen I assume. I'm also offering my help to the selected in lower castes to adjust to life in the upper castes. Since from everything I understand it's a bit of a jarring difference. Not to try and change them or anything like that, but to simply allow them to be more equipped for items such as balls and ambassadors."

He nodded, still dancing with her, “All the formal events and everything is quite the change to get used to, at least that’s what I’ve heard. I’m curious as to how much of a change it is though, I may have to ask next time I talk to any of the other ladies.”

"I will have to ask next time as well," Zaera spoke more to herself than in response to the prince, "What about you? Anything I should know about you?"

“I’m fairly certain you and every other person in this kingdom knows everything about me.” He offered a small lopsided smile and shrugged, “I’m not that special, not as crazy interesting as the news makes me seem.”

"I'm well aware the media tries to twist things on its head at times," Zaera responded with a slight laugh, "Unlike some people, I don't believe everything I read in the news. Hence I'm asking you."

He smiled and thought for a moment, “Well, the news didn’t get everything wrong with me, it’s just me and my parents, I travel quite a lot to help run the kingdom, and I enjoy anything chocolate.”

"Well that's good news for you," Zaera smiled back, "And I would surprised if I met someone who didn't enjoy chocolate. Glad to see you're on the right side of the world."

"I'm good, what about you?" She asked with a small smile.

"Decent. A bit confused. I love your dress, by the way." Jade looked at the shimmering green fabric. It truly was gorgeous.

Talin chuckled, the song in the background slowly trailing off and ending, “I know a few people who dislike chocolate, they just don’t like the taste.”

"Then they are some type of insanity," Zaera commented well aware of the song ending and signaling the end of her dance with the prince.

“Well I mean, one of them is nuts, he chose to be friends with me out of all people,” The prince said, chuckling again as he stopped dancing when the music ended and led her back over to the edges of the room.

"Oh dear," Zaera allowed him to lead her back to the edge of the room, "It has been a pleasure your highness."

“It’s been a pleasure to dance with you as well, Miss Zaera, and please, just call me Talin. Your Highness is too formal for not being out helping the kingdom.” He smiled and stepped away from her, waving goodbye before going off to find the ambassador to dance with and to figure out whatever was happening with their relations with France.

"Decent. A bit confused. I love your dress, by the way." Jade looked at the shimmering green fabric. It truly was gorgeous.

Zia smiled. "Thank you so much. Yours is gorgeous as well."

Zaera gave a small wave back to the prince, before glancing around to make sure none of her family were nearby. She now had the pleasure of going back to avoiding them with all her being.

Soon he found the ambassador and started talking with her, nodding at the right times and saying all the right things. He offered her a hand to dance and smiled his charming, slightly fake, smile. She didn’t notice though and soon he was talking and dancing with her.

"Decent. A bit confused. I love your dress, by the way." Jade looked at the shimmering green fabric. It truly was gorgeous.

Zia smiled. "Thank you so much. Yours is gorgeous as well."

"Thank you!" Jade smiled. "I, um, I actually designed it myself. But that was long ago. I found the sketch yesterday and thought it could be cool."

Talin seemed like the regal prince everyone saw him to be while he danced, making the meat impression he could and quietly discussing things. The ambassador was an interesting lady, with a personality that he had never seen before. Thankfully the song ended quicker than he thought and he bowed to her, dropping his mask as soon as he got out of range of her seeing him.
