After looking at the menu for another minute or two, she had decided. "I think I'm going to have shrimp chow mein!" She said with a smile.

“Great choice. Should I call the waiter over?” She said closing the menu.

"You can if you want, but I think one will probably come soon." Evangeline closed her menu as well. She looked around the restaurant at the decor as she waited.

“Alright. So, what do you like to do for fun?” She rested her hand on her cheeks.

"I love to do trapeze and areal silks! My family is a circus family so I was I the circus for as long as I remember. I quite being in the circus so I could go to collage and do other stuff, though." She went on a bit more about circus, obviously happy about it. "What about you?"

“Hmm, I mostly like to write and star gaze. I also love to do archery. It’s so fun! I do lessons everyday and I shoot at home. I’m a little obsessed, but it’s never interfered with my school work,” she giggled.

"I've always wanted to do archery, it's just so cool!" A waiter finally came.
"Hello ladies, what can I get for you today?" He said with a practiced smile.
"Oh, I would like chow mein with shrimp please." He wrote her order down then turned to Melody.
"And for you, miss?"

“I’ll have pork fried rice please,” she said giving the waiter the menu.
“Right away,” the waiter left with the menu and their orders.
“I can teach you sometime, if you’ll let me.”

"Of course I would let you! It subs like lots of fun!" Evangeline still had a huge smile on her face. She was glad did was dining soon, that she was going to finally get to do archery, and that she had a great roommate.

Melody smiled back leaning her face on her hand. “I’m glad you like the idea.”

"I'm so glad I have such a great roommate. I was so worried that I'd have a bad one." She pulled out her phone. "What's your phone number? I'm going to have to have it since we are now friends!"

“We can just switch phones,” she handed over her phone taking Evan’s phone and adding her contact. “There you go.”

She took Melody's phone and put her contact in then handing it back to Mel. "Thanks!" Evangeline smiled as she got her phone back.

“You’re really excited huh? What time works best for you so I can teach you?” She smiled, taking her phone back.

"Hmm…" She paused to think. "For now, I'm pretty open for any time, I think."

“Alright, how about….well, we can do it today if your up for it,” she shrugged.

Evangeline nodded. "Sounds good to me!" The waiter finally came with their food and handed the dishes to them. "Enjoy your meal, ladies." He left giving them another practiced smile.

“Okay then,” she started eating humming at how good it was. “Where do you wanna go after this?”

"Oh this is delicious!!" She was so glad they chose to go there. "I really don't know! I like to try new stuff or just hang out. You know the town better than I do."

“Well, there is a amusement park around here somewhere. What do you say?” She raised and eyebrow.

After swallowing, she smiled. "That sounds good to me! I love roller coasters!"

“Alright, once your done eating we’ll go,” she took the last bite of her food finishing it. She took a sip of her water and leaned back into her chair. “Man that was tasty~”

She took another bite, just a few were left. "Sounds good to me!" After eating the last few bites, she was done. Evangeline looked at Melody. "Are you ready?"

“Ready as I’ll ever be,” she stood up and paid for their meal. She tucked her hand in her short’s pockets. “You sure you’re tall enough to go on the rides there?”

Evangeline stood up with a smile. "I sure hope so!" She laughed as she headed to the door, holding it open for someone random person and Melody.

She smiled and started walking, “Thank you for holding the door,” Mel said softly. “Race you?”

"You're welcome!" She went through the door and closed it behind her. "Well… I would and win, but I don't know how to get there…"

“You would not win, and you can see it from here,” she pointed to the tall roller coaster and the ferrous wheel.

"Oh are you sure about that? I was one of the fastest runners in my school senior year." She said with a small smirk. "Okay, let's race."

“I’d like to see you try to win. Winner gets anything they want from the loser,” she smirked.
