Lucifer grinned and gave a small shrug. “Hey, eat your food so you can open your presents. And I wanna take you out today.”

"Take me out?" He took another bite, raising his eyebrows. "Out where?"

“Just out into town. Can’t we go out and have a nice day together for your birthday?” Lucifer challenged the other, raising his eyebrows right back.

"We can, I was just wondering where we were going…" Scipio shrugged. "You don't usually let me go out."

“Well yeah because I have to be with you. And you never ask so I never take you,” Lucifer explained simply.

Scipio rolled his eyes and finished his food. "Fair enough, I suppose." He brought his plate over to the sink and began washing it.
