After dinner…
Troy had helped to clean off his plate and silverware, then had sat down on the couch again, unsure of what else to do.

"so, on a scale of one to ten? How'd you like it?"
She asks crossing her arms, then her mind drifted to what Troy had told her.
"i-i meant the food by the way!!"
She suddenly says defensively, her face obviously red.

Troy chuckled softly. "The food was good. Maybe a…six? Seven?" He shrugged.

"ouch"
She says jokingly, then looking at the bottles that she still didnt pick up.
Picking them up and putting them on the counter for now….she had to take out the trash, for it was plenty full.
"So…..remind me, i mightve forgot, but was that your first timem being drunk?"
She asks him, setting the bottles down.

Troy nodded. "Yeah…and I would prefer not to again."

"AAAnd that was my next question"
She says pushing herself off of the counter.
"i mean, i wasnt asking you if you wanted to get drunk….but i was wondering if you ever would….just for kicks and giggles ya know. Im not meaning anything….by…..that"
She says stuttering a little

Troy shook his head. "I would prefer to remain in control." He replied softly.

"yeah……i get that"
She says sitting on her bed with a sigh.

He nodded slightly. "Good. Don't even hand me a bottle again, then."

"i-I'm sorry….."
She says scooting away from him, even though they were about five feet apart.
Her house was incredibly small, the only separate room was her bathroom.
She felt bad that he would have to sleep on the couch, maybe she would sleep on the couch, she could let him sleep on the bed.
He hadn't slept in a long time other than last night and the night before, and finally, he deserved to be comfortable.

"It's okay…it's just…never mind. It's not your fault. That's all." He said softly, looking at his hands.

"Hey, would you like to sleep on the bed? I can sleep on the couch. I just….thought you could be comfortable….that is a two person couch after all. It's way to small for someone like you to sleep in."
She says awkwardly, stuttering a little.

He shrugged. "I'm fine on the couch." He replied. "I don't need to take your bed."

"But that couch is so small! I insist….i like sleeping on couches anyway….its comfy"
She says looking away, a little embarrassed. To her, enjoying sleeping on a couch was really weird, but that wasn't the point

Troy blinked. "No, stay on your bed. I don't want to take your bed away from you."

"Ugh….you're hard to be nice to…if that makes any sense"
She says with a slight laugh.

He chuckled. "Mm. If you say so." He replied, glancing over at her.

"So…..do you still have nightmares or whatever when you sleep? Or are those gone since you're human?"
She asks him scooting towards the end of the bed.

Troy looked down at his hands. "I'm not sure yet." He replied softly.
(Btw I'll be gone Wednesday thru Friday)

"Well…..if you have any feel free to wake me up….if that's not weird"
She says as she walks over to the lamp, ready to turn it off. Her little brother always had nightmares, and she would have to tell him every night, that if does, wake her up. But this wasn't her little brother. This was the Grimm reaper

Troy nodded. "Okay. Thank you." He lay down, pulling the blanket over his body, and closed his grey eyes.

Turning off the lights, she walked to her bed, almost tripping over who knows what, then finally sitting on her bed with a sigh.

Troy kept his eyes closed, sighing softly. He really didn't want to sleep. He really didn't. But he knew he needed to now. This wasn't like when he was…fully the Reaper.

Taking off the weapons she had on, and walking through the obstacles in her small house to go to the bathroom to change. Walking out, it was just shorts and a big t-shirt, like normal. Her leg was doing better, but it still hurt. Laying down and closing her eyes, but not able to sleep.

Troy turned over onto his back, opening his eyes and staring at the ceiling.

"Can't sleep?"
She whispers over to him, loud enough for him to hear.

He nodded. "Yeah." He replied softly, rubbing his face.

"Same….."
She says a little louder with a tiny laugh. Suddenly she remembered what he had said…
Her face turning red, not visibly, she rolls over on her back with a sigh.
She had to remind herself that it didn't mean anything. They were drunk and not thinking… Right?

He chuckled softly. "Mm."
