"Hey Daso."
Leah looked down at the dough, a little confused. She had no idea what to do with it, but she didn't say anything.
"What's for lunch?" he queried, looking around. "Pizza?"
Lucian nodded. “She’s had a long day,” he said simply. He walked her over to a chair and sat her down.
Cicada saw Leah looking at the dough, "You've never made pizza before?"
(Kameo's probably going to stay down until the funeral like the tiny, sad, hermit he is)
"Be sure to add cheese. I grated it myself." Ryan said with fake pride.
"Okay, y'all. Here's the sauce, cheese, peppers, olives, and meats for your pizzas." She handed out the dough and started spreading sauce on hers.
"Sure, kid," Daso said, glancing at Ryan. He set to work making his pizza, attempting to chisel the dough until it was heart shaped.
"Well. . . no." Leah replied sheepishly, looking towards Cicada.
(Kameo's probably going to stay down until the funeral like the tiny, sad, hermit he is)
(No Kam Kam, come have pizza!)
"Here I'll help you," Cicada began working on her pizza, "You need to knead the dough into a circle. OR A HEART!"
(( Poor Leah doesn't know how to make Pizza )
Leah nodded, watching Cicada. People eat this? Tomatoes on bread?
Joanna nodded. "Be sure to use the mozzarella, I really had to haggle for it!"
"Then you put on tomato sauce," Cicada began to spread the sauce around her pizza, "Then you put on the cheese. We have mozzarella so we are using it. Then add on whatever else you want."
"No worries, darling," Daso said, smiling at Leah, "You can have this one!" He presented the heart-shaped one, complete with all the toppings. "After it's cooked, that is."
(CALLED IT!)
( called it. . .?)
(The ship is progressing)
Leah laughed, looking at the heart-shaped pizza. "You're great at this, Daso." She said, giving him an impressed look.
(The ship is progressing)
( Ah, yes, the ship. )
( called it. . .?)
(Figured out it was going to happen the moment I saw heart shaped pizza.)
Joanna chuckled. "Okay, is everyone ready to put theirs in the oven?"
"Thanks, I try," Daso replied with a wink.
Ryan nodded, putting one last pepperoni on his small pizza. "Yup."
"Alrighty then." She transferred the pizzas to to a tray and put it in the oven.
"So," she said, turning to face the others. "How did the trip to Anjou turn out for y'all?"
"It was fine." Ryan responded almost automatically.
Daso shrugged carelessly. "Average for me. Just hung out in taverns. It's funny to watch drunk people."
