Jasper's eyes widened as he realized the box and flower was for him, "you could've eaten some, wI ouldn't have minded." He laughed and took the box. He took the flower and placed it in her hair. "There," he said, popping one of the chocolate in his mouth as they followed Lindsey and Theo to the car
"But I would've felt guilty for ruining your gift," She replied, blushing slightly as he put the flower in her hair and protesting, she didn't remove it though, "Hey, that's flower is for you, not for me Jassie." She walked by his side with a smile, following Lindsey and Theo.
Jasper smiled down at her and shook his head "hold onto it for me until we get home. Plus, it looks way better on you than it does me," he winked and kept walking to the car. Once there, he opened the doors for all of them before going to the driver's side
Scarlett's smile grew and she nodded in thanks for him opening her car door before offering as she slid into the seat, "I can drive if you want, you probably need the rest after flying."
"Nah it's fine, we had hours to sleep on the plane here." he shrugged and started the car, pulling out of the driveway towards their apartments. "so what'd we miss while away?"
"Not much, a few more robberies that made the news and a new album being released by some singer, but other than that," She shrugged, "Not much." She looked out the window with a smile and went silent, deciding not to get into how boring her life had been all week.
Jasper nodded "we'll have to stop by the studio to make sure everything's alright before heading home," he muttered, turning a street corner and into a nice neighborhood where Lindsey lived at
"It should be," She said, her attention immediately drawn to the fancy houses around them, "I've kept an eye on it all week, but it wont hurt to check again."
Jasper smiled at her "thank you," he looked forwards again and turned into a driveway. He unlocked the car and got out, hugging his cousin and saying goodbye before getting back in the car and driving off towards Theo's apartment
Scarlett waved goodbye to Lindsey and smiled, "It was no problem, it gave me something to do all week other than homework."
"speaking of homework how did you do on the paper?" Jasper asked as he drove to Theo's house
"Pretty good, not the best grade in the class but still decent for the amount of time I spent trying to write it," She said with a shrug, looking out the window and studying the passing buildings.
Jasper nodded proudly and went silent, checking in the rearview mirror for his brother. Theo had fallen asleep in the back seat, for once looking peaceful. Jasper smiled softly and turned up the radio so they wern't sitting in complete silence
Scarlett smiled and started humming along to the song, resting her head back against the seat and looking out the window. She was happy and Jassie was back again, so she was even happier.
JAsper finally made it to Theo's home after a few minutes of driving. He got out of the car and gently nudged his brother awake. "Hm? oh," Theo stretched and got out of the car, talking with Jasper the whole way until they got to the door. Theo nodded once and then unexpectedly hugged Jasper. Jasper hugged him back before say a few words and nodding, heading back to the car with a small smile
"You two seem to be getting along," She commented when he got back to the car, still settled into her seat and buckled up with a smile.
Jasper nodded "yeah, it's weird. I hope it lasts." He smiled and took her hand in his, lacing their fingers together and pressing a kiss to the back of her hand. "Ready to go home?"
Scarlet nodded and her smile grew, "Remember to check on the studio first though." She didn't let go of his hand though, pressing a kiss to the back of his hand as well.
He nodded "yeah, we'll check up on that before we go home." He drove them to the studio. "I'll be right back," he said, getting out of the car and pulling out his keys. He unlocked the studio and headed inside
"Ok, stay safe," She said gently, making no move to get out of the car as she leaned her head back against the seat again and closed her eyes. It was comfy in the car, and Scarlett hadn't gotten much sleep the night before in the first place si it was very difficult to fight the sleepiness.
Jasper came back shortly and got back in the car. He glanced over at Scarlet and gently stroked her cheek "How much sleep have you gotten?" he asked, starting the car again and driving home
She shrugged, opening her eyes barely and glancing over at him as he started driving again, "Enough to stay awake for now."
"So barely," he laughed softly. Once home, jasper parked the car and got out. He walked over to Scarlet's side of the car and scooped her up. He cradled her to his chest and brought her inside, using the spare key to open the apartment. He headed to the couch and sat down with scarlet in his arms
"I can walk on my own you know," She mumbled, snuggling up against him anyway and wrapping her arms around him in a tight hug.
He kissed her head. "Now you protest? After I carried you here?" He rolled his eyes playfully and slowly leaned back, lying comfortably on the couch with her ontop of him
"You could've just made me walk," She replied, laughing lightly and shrugging as she shifted around so she was almost straddling him as she hugged him tighter, "I'm glad you're back, I missed you."
"I wouldn't do that." He stroked her hair and tilted her head up "I missed you too scar," he pressed a sweet kiss to her lips

She hummed in content and didn't pull away from the kiss for a long moment, still so happy he was back safe and sound.
As he kissed her, Jasper reached around and pulled a blanket that was resting on the back of the couch ontop of Scarlet. He gently pulled away and smiled "we can continue tomorrow, you need sleep." He pressed a kiss to her head and tucked her head under his chin
"Fine," She said with a sigh and a slight smile, still keeping her arms around him and snuggling in, "You need some sleep too though."
