Lucas was clearly drained from all the events of today, but he still wanted to make Nick happy, so he started to lightly suck at the skin on the other's neck.

He moaned softly. "L-Lucas…"

"Do you like that?" Lucas asked, gently pressing his lips to the mark he'd made.

He nodded, "My neck is the most sensitive to me…" Nick shut his eyes looking to the side away from Lucas.

Lucas nodded as well and slowly kissed his way up to Nick's jaw. "How about there?"

"Mm~" he softly answered.

"I'll assume that's-" Lucas interrupted himself with a yawn, his eyes growing heavier. "-that's good…"

"You can sleep if your tired you know," he chuckled.

"Noooo…" Lucas whined softly, weakly trying to kiss Nick again.

Nick placed his hand on Lucas's cheek. "Sleep my love."

"Mmmmmm…" Lucas couldn't help but melt into Nick's touch. Despite his best efforts, his eyelids fluttered closed and he soon fell limp in Nick's arms.

Nick smiled then ran his hand over the mark that Lucas gave him. He really is something. Nick had stayed awake because he wasn't tired. So he stayed there watching over him as he slept.

Lucas pressed himself as close as possible while he slept, relaxing. After a little while, though, he tensed up and started shaking.

Nick looked down at his baby and started to stroke his hair. "It's okay, I'm right here. Not going anywhere…" he whispered.

Lucas whimpered quietly, clinging tightly to Nick. He was growing more unsettled by the second and couldn't bear being away from Nick at all.

"Shhh…shhhhh, I'm right here…." he held Lucas tight giving him his warmth.

He relaxed a little bit when Nick squeezed him, but he was still trembling slightly. "Mm…"

"Just breathe love…" Nick stroked his back. It broke him to see his love like it.

Lucas was breathing shakily, but he couldn't actually hear Nick. He huddled closer in his sleep.

At this point, the only thing he could do was try to wake him up. "Lucas….wake up."

Lucas stirred a bit, but didn't wake. He whimpered softly.

I'm gonna have to kiss him. He smirked and raised Lucas's head kissing his lips.

Lucas relaxed at that and woke up soon after. "Mm… mornin', love…"

“Did you have a nightmare?” He asked twirling Lucas’s hair around his fingers.

He nodded a bit, leaning into Nick's hand. "Mhmm… don't worry about it. I'm pretty used to them."

"I will worry about it because I worry about you. What are your nightmares about?" Nick looked serious only because he was worried.

"Um… m-mostly either my dad or mom and Claus…" He replied quietly.

"Juat know you are not alone, I promise," he smiled kissing Lucas's forehead.

Lucas nodded a bit and kissed Nick back. "I love you…"

"I love you too," Nick sat up. "Breakfast time!"
