Lucas just let Nick hug him, turning the picture over so he didn't have to keep looking at it.

"Do you want to leave or stay here?" Nick asked in a mumble.
"I-I need to get my stuff, but after that I think it's best if we go…" Lucas whispered back.
"Okay," Nick stood up and held out his hand.
Lucas stood up and held the picture close to his chest, leading Nick to his room. It was a dreary place, honestly. The plaster was falling off the walls, which also had stains of his own blood. There was blood on the floor, too, and used blades on his bedside table. "S-Sorry about the mess…" He laughed weakly, grabbing a backpack and starting to put his few belongings in it.
"No, you're fine," Nick said, getting the suitcase out from the closet. "Anything in your closet that you want?"
"Hmm?" Lucas came over to the closet and looked inside. He picked up an old shoebox and just quietly lay it on the bed before going back to putting clothes in his backpack.
Nick closed the closet then rolled the other suitcase over to Lucas to pack.
"Oh, I dunno if I really own enough things to need a full suitcase." Lucas looked at the bloodied blades on his dresser, fighting the strong urge to grab them and just tear into himself.
Nick caught Lucas looking at the blades. He took them and threw them into a bush outside. "No cutting and what about the shower stuff and all of that.
Lucas snapped out of his trance. "Uh… yeah… come with me, and please don't freak out." He led Nick into the bathroom. There was a chunk taken out of the counter somehow with blood just around the edges, and more stained blades. Basically, there was quite a bit of blood and sharp objects. Lucas closed his eyes and held the sides of his head with his hands. "I… I can't… p-please hide them…"
Nick took the sharp objects and threw them in the trash then took the trash out. Nick walked back to Lucas’s room. “Babe, why do you do this to yourself? Why are they’re so many?”
Lucas was kneeling on the ground, digging his fingernails into his arms as he cried. "I-I need control… I need the pain… h… h-help me, please…"
Nick quickly took his hands away from his arms and intertwined their fingers in each hand. “It’s okay. Shhhhh I’m right here and I’m going to help you.”
Lucas nodded, keeping his eyes closed. "I don't know how much longer I can be here…" He whispered. "I can already feel myself crumbling…"
Nick crawled over Lucas and kissed him lightly, “it’s okay we’ll leave after we finish. Unless you want me to pack for you and you can go wait in the car?”
"I'm not sure I can be trusted alone right now…" Lucas opened his eyes and looked up at Nick, trembling.
“Okay, can I kiss you?” Nick asked.
Lucas nodded and closed his eyes again, kissing Nick gently while the other held onto his hands.
He kept the kiss going until the ran out of breath. He kissed him again, feeling him calm down a little bit.
Lucas's grip on Nick's hands relaxed a bit as he slowly calmed down. He melted into Nick's touch, putty in his hands.
The kisses would come one after the other. Finally, he eased away from one kiss, "Do you feel better now?"
"A little…" Lucas admitted quietly, looking down at the floor with a flushed face. "I'm really sorry about all this, by the way…"
Nick kissed him again. "Don't talk, feel." Nick smirked against Lucas's lips. He wanted to make sure that he gets a full yes to feeling better.
Lucas wrapped his arms around Nick's neck, sighing softly. He tentatively pulled himself into the other's lap to deepen the kiss.
Nick made sure to hold Lucas tight against him. Some moans where herd as they kept going. Every kiss he could feel Lucas relax more and more. "Feeling better?" Nick mumbled against Lucas's lips.
Lucas nodded weakly and went right back to Nick. He was breathless and flushed by now, but he definitely seemed more relaxed.
“That’s good. Now, how about we pack your bags and when we get to our apartment, we’ll do something special?” Nick smirked.
"Like what?" Lucas looked up at Nick, his blue eyes wide with curiosity. "Watch a movie?"
(Lmao- Nick: Yeah, sure. Netflix and chill is fine.)
(XD so true though)
“You’ll see once you’re done packing,” Nick helped Lucas stand up off the ground. “Finish packing okay?”
