He nodded with a small laugh "fun, right. I love you too scar. I'll be home soon." He wink "see you then." He hung up and turned his phone off, falling asleep immediately afterwards

"I'll meet you at the airport when you get back," She called before he ended the video, waving goodbye and then turning with a small sigh and a look of newfound determination to her work and writing her paper.

In the morning, Jasper awoke to his cousin pounging on the door "wake up sleepy head, still gotta meet our relatives in the dining hall downstairs!" Jasper groaned at the thought of spending the rest of his day with weeping relatives who barely knew his cousin.

Scarlett had worked for a few more hours before she had fallen asleep right on the couch. She woke up in the morning with a groan as her alarm went off and she started to sleepily get ready for the day.

Jasper dressed nicely in a simple black shirt and pants. He grabbed his phone as he ran a hand through his hair and texted Scarlet "hey, have a great day in classes. Hope you slept well enough last nightedespite the work, I'll video chat tonight if I don't fall asleep. I love ya scar,"

The buzz from the message on her phone made her smile and she glanced at it, picking it up and texting back once she saw who it was, "Thank you, I love you too Jassie, maybe talk to you tonight :)"

Jasper smiled softly at the message before heading out the door. He met Lindsey and Theo outside in the breakfast area.
Lindsey held up a camera and pointed it at Jasper "look who fashionably late!" She laughed and hugged her cousin

After she had sent the message, she forced herself to start getting ready again, sighing and humming as she threw her books into her bag, showered, and changed.

Jasper rolled his eyes at the camera "Black is my color," he laughed softly and glanced up as theo came in "Do we really have to consol those who literally knew nothing about our cousin?" he asked, coming up beside Jasper and glaring as the relatives came in. "Yeah, unfortunately we do."

Within a few more minutes, she had gotten everything ready and flopped back down in her couch to relax for a few more minutes. Her phone buzzed and she glanced at it, smiling when she saw it was a message from one of her friends, asking if she had any plans in a few weeks. Her friend went to a college across the country, but they still managed to meet and hang out every so often.

After a while, the three were back in their corner and watching the room. The relatives crying for a boy they barely knew

Scarlett got up and headed to her class as she messaged her friend, barely remembering to lock the door before heading out. They were talking about what she was going to do with her summer break and if she was going to go visit or not.

Jasper leaned against the wall as he gazed out onto the room of weeping people.
"Looks who's looking good at a family get together…" Lindsey aimed the camera at her cousin

Scarlett was bouncing with excitement as the end of the week came, excited to be able to see Jasper again. She couldn't decide if she would meet him at the airport or not, tough eventually she decided she was going to and was now on her way there in a taxi and a box of candy and a flower for him to be cheesy.

Jasper, Lindsey and Theo all were for the most part quiet on the plane ride, taking the opportunity to catch up on some sleep that was missed over the trip due to staying up all night telling stories they told with their dead cousin and crying. Jasper stood waiting for the bag return while Lindsey and Theo we're trying to figure out where they had parked the car

She eventually made it to the airport and waited patiently as she looked around for Jasper and the other two. A smile settled onto her face and she rocked on her heels, walking around and looking for them wherever she could without needing a ticket.

The trio made it to the lobby and glanced around, trying to figure out which exit to go through to get to the parking lot. "Maybe the exit near the restaurant?" Theo said, pointing at the map displayed in the center of the space they were in

Eventually she pulled out her phone, texting Jasper and continuing to look around, Where are you guys? You did land already, right?

Jasper glanced at his phone and smiled "you met us here? Yeah we laughed.ded, we're near the third gat bit forgot where we parked the car."

"Yeah I met you here, I wanted to make sure you landed safely and got back" She replied, smiling and heading towards where he said they were with a bounce in her step. Her eyes flicked around the whole time she walked, looking for any sign of him or the others.

Jasper waved to the others, having finally figured out where the gate was. His eyes scanned the area for Scarlet, excited to finally see her and hold her after a full week of just video chatting

She continued looking around diligently, looking every which way for him and holding her phone close along with the candy for him and the lone flower.

Jasper finally spotted her in the middle of the lobby. He dropped his bags and ran to her, wrapping her in his arms. "There you are," he said with a smile

her face lit up in a smile when she finally spotted him, rushing towards him and wrapping him in a tight hug, "Finally, i thought I wasn't going to find you in this crowd."

He pressed close to her with a laugh "I know, people are crazy here, but hey, we found each other." He pulled away and glanced down at the flower and box in her hand "did someone else meet you already and give you those on accident?" he asked teasingly

"Nope, though I wouldn't turn down some good old presents if someone walked up and gave them to me," She replied, holding them out to him as her smile grew, "You're lucky I didn't get hungry and eat what's in the box."
