Eric wet his lips, carefully plastering on a calm look. "Okay, that's fine." He was quiet, drinking in the golden light, the way it hit the trees at their sides.

"Lost for words, dear?" Grey asked, glancing over at him and smirking "you seem lost in thought."

"Huh? Oh, I was just looking at the trees. It's a park, right?"

he tilted his head and nodded "yes, it is. don't know where you walked into?"

Eric pushed him lightly in the arm, unable to stop himself from smiling. "Fuck off."

"not a chance, not when I'm this close." He said with a grin

Eric kept his gaze on the horizon, his hands in his pockets. "Close to what, exactly?"

"you'll see dear," he sang with a smile. Grey laced his hands behind his head

"I don't like suspense, Grey. What is it?"

"all in due time my angel. Patience my dear." He called over his shoulder with a smug grin

Eric looked away from him with a weary expression. "Shut the fuck up."

"ah then how will I tell you later, hm?" He asked with a laugh

(how bout they get to Greyson's place and before he introduces Eric to his parents he "proposes"?

Grey guided Eric through the streets to his home on the outskirts of town. He climbed the stairs but before they went in, grey pulled the other to the side where the porch cut off to form a private section.

Eric took a step back. "Hold on, is this your house?"

He nodded "mhm, not much but it suffices for me and my parents,"

Eric smiled. "It's nice. Why are we here?"

" I kinda wanted to ask you something then let you meet my cousin. Mom and dad won't be here till later." He said, leaning against the railing

"Alright," Eric said, sweeping his gaze over the flowers in the garden below. "What is it?"

Grey took a nervous breath and took Eric's hand in his. "Will you be mine? And I yours?" He asked softly, gazing into his eyes, searching for some reaction

Eric looked at him with wide eyes, a blush spreading over his face. "I. Oh." He blinked. "Yeah," he breathed out finally, letting out a small nervous chuckle.

Grey smiled and pulled the other into a tender kiss "what was that dear? I didn't quite catch that over the wind." He teased against his lips

"Shut the fuck up," Eric mumbled into his mouth, his hand against Grey's jaw.

"I'm fairly certain that's not what you said." He laughed and kissed him again, trapping the other against the railing

Eric bit back a gasp and kissed back fiercely, wrapping his arms around Grey's neck.
