Cameron took it from her and swigged it, leaning back to look down at their game. "I suppose so. It's more fun just to sit around and drink, huh?" He asked with a smile and a deep laugh. He took another mouthful and looked at the bottle. The tall bottle was halfway empty.
Ava collects the pair of cards and sets them off to the side. “We would have to compete with the dogs trying to steal the cards and vodka from us if we did this at home.” Laughing, she fondly remembers the last time something like this was attempted. She takes the drink back from him when he’s done.
Cameron laughed again and shook his head. "You're too right. It's nice to be able to sit back and drink with you, though." He pouted when she took the drink from him, but let her. If it were up to him, they'd each have their own bottle. He'd be able to finish his own bottle, albeit passed out on the ground afterwards or stupid drunk. Maybe it was good that he was sharing it.
“Mm, definitely. Don’t get me wrong, I love those hellhounds but it’s nice not to have to worry about them getting into stuff they shouldn’t be getting into.” Ava hogs the bottle for a couple of minutes before passing it back. Though wise, sharing alcohol isn’t necessarily fun. “I hope they’re behaving or we might never get another chance like this.”
Cameron hummed in response, sticking his arm out when he felt she was hogging it too long. He took it and drank the rest, setting the bottle aside with a soft nod.
"You're right. I'm sure dad's taking care of them alright."
Ava sighs and leans up against the side of the bed. The card game had been fun but they’re right back where they started now that it’s over. The fact that the vodka is gone doesn’t help either.
“Yeah, I’m sure that they’re all having a great time.”
Cameron frowned a little as he leaned up next to her. "I bet. Do you want more alcohol? I'm between that point of delightfully buzzed and angry that I'm not drunk enough." He laughed softly and stood up with a small stumble, then over to the mini fridge.
Ava chuckles as she nods her head in agreement. “Yeah, I’m right there with you. What’s left in the mini fridge?” More vodka or some whiskey would be great but she’s not picky enough to turn anything down. Stretching out a little, she turns her head to watch him as he checks the fridge.
"Hmmmm there's wine, but that's shit. The wine around here can be pretty bad. Ah– here's more vodka." He stowed his hand away and pulled out another bottle, grinning ear-to-ear. He popped it open and took a few slugs, hogging it for a bit.
“Ugh, wine shouldn’t be consumed unless necessary.” That’s far from her first choice. She only drinks that shit at parties when he father neglects to have an open bar. “Yes!” She cheers when he finds another bottle of vodka. After waiting less than patiently for him to drink some, she snags the bottle from him.
Cameron grunted his agreement over the neck of the bottle, licking his lips and plopping down heavily as she took the bottle from him.
"We shouldn't drink too much. We already had a full bottle." He burped faintly, blinking a couple times and grinning.
“It’ll be fine. We don’t have anywhere to go or anything to do. A little more can’t hurt. Besides, we split the first bottle.” Ava waves her hand at him, not concerned about this in the slightest. It’s been what seems like forever since they’ve gotten a chance to properly have fun and she wants to take advantage of this new freedom. She raises the bottle and drinks.
Cameron grunted and shrugged. He'd take any excuse to drink more, so he was okay with it, yawning wide and stretching. "So after we drink, do you wanna do anything? We usually do something with our newfound stupidity and confidence." He laughed and watched her drink, already wanting the bottle of Russian water back.
“Probably. It depends on how drunk we are and what there is to do.” Ava takes her time drinking, not willing to give it up quite yet. The liquid does wonders to improve her mood, even more so than the beach. After another few minutes of hogging the bottle, she reluctantly hands it over to him.
"Mhm. Alright. Gimmie." He took it from her when she offered it, deciding to hog it as much as she was, taking small, happy sips of the drink with soft hums. He threw an arm around her and sighed, shaking his head. "It's really boring down here on the floor."
“So rude.” She huffs and rolls her eyes at him. Turning, she flops her legs across his and leans her shoulder against his. “We gotta do something other than just sit here.” She had grown sick of sitting on the floor the second the card game ended.
(Okay, so I have a dental procedure on Monday at about 10:30 and I won’t be back til 12:30ish but since it’s a surgery and I’ll have to take pain killers I don’t know if I’ll be on at all. Just thought I should give ya a heads up.)

Cameron rubbed her arm gently as he drank from the bottle. "Well, maybe we could go back up when we're done with this." He finished how much he wanted and gave it back to her. He hummed softly, still rubbing her shoulder.

Ava accepts the bottle from him with a happy hum. Glancing down at the contents, she considers it. There isn’t very much left so she may as well finish it. “I won’t protest that.” Leaning into his touch, she polishes off the bottle and sets it off to the side.
(Well if you're a girl I don't think you're gonna have a lot of problems. women aren't affected by general anesthesia and painkiller like men are. I would know. I had eight teeth removed and i was just a little woozy)
"Mmm…" Now he was delightfully buzzed. He stood up again with a stumble, then sat back on the bed with a grunt. He tugged her after him and just placed her on his lap, relaxing his head on her shoulder with a sigh.
(Yeah, that’s what the dentist said. I’m just not fond of getting my teeth looked at in general so I’m dreading this. When I was younger I had like three of my teeth pulled because of my small mouth but the numbing shots didn’t work too well so I could feel most of it. I’m mostly worried about a repeat with that.)
With a quiet grumble, she climbs to her feet and let’s him pulls her up on his lap. “Much better than the floor.” She leans heavily against him, pushing him down so that they’re both laying, her still partially on top of him.
(oof. If you're going to an actual oral surgeon you should be fine. Just ask if they have an anesthesiologist present before the surgery. They'll make sure that you're out. I read up on what it's like, and there's a very slim chance of you not going out under anesthesia. It is super scary at first because they put a mask on you and give you an IV, but as soon as you're out, you're out. I don't remember anything except for him telling me that he was administering the anesthesia, and moments later I was blacked out.)
Cameron's hands moved to her back and pulled her up so she was on his chest, and he was rubbing her back slowly. "It is, hm?" He wasn't as tired as he was earlier, just very aware of her on his chest as he gazed at her.
(I mean this isn’t my first surgery (only one before this) but it is my first dental surgery. The woman who’ll be doing the procedure is great and I like her but I’ve only met her twice. Luckily, I got a prescription for some meds that’ll help me relax before the thing. I take ‘em before I leave the house and then when I get to the place I get some shots and then I should just blank out. That’s what I’ve been told anyways.)
Ava stretches out and makes herself comfortable. Nuzzling his neck affectionately, she enjoys the feeling of him rubbing her back. “Very much so.” She looks up at him and offers a happy and relaxed smile.
(Oh okay so it's not general anesthesia you're going under? It might be something else, because I needed an IV line for mine. Weird but okay. Also ye that's how it should work. At least you get ice cream. I got a big doggy plush after my surgery that I still have and love .3.)
Cameron met her gaze and smiled back, just as relaxed and happy. He ran his fingers into the nook of her back, slipping his hand under her shirt to warm up his hands and rub her skin. He had no idea how she was so warm all the time.
(No but I wish it was. That would make me stress out a whole lot less. Yeah, ice cream is definitely a plus. I absolutely love ice cream, apple sauce, and jello so at least I have that to look forward to lol Aw, a big dog plush sounds so sweet!)
Ava sighs happily as she presses a few kisses to his jaw and neck. Moving her hand up, she starts to play with his hair. It’s a weird feeling for her but she feels relaxed and yet euphoric. There’s probably a word for it but she’s not going to worry herself with figuring out what it is.

Cameron hummed softly, shutting his eyes and still rubbing small circles into her back. He tilted his head to gaze at her, smiling drunkenly. “You’re very pretty, you know.” He ran a hand along her cheek, sighing happily.
(I’ll just be happy when it’s over with and I’m eating ice cream on the couch lol)
Ava studies him for a moment, just taking in all of his features. It blurs for a moment but a quick shake of her head clears everything up. “You’re very pretty too.” A smile flickers across her face at his words. Running her fingers through his hair, she lightly rubs his neck with her thumb.

Cameron hummed softly, looping his fingers with hers and sitting up a little for a kiss. He relaxed back down with her once he took her lips, holding her back gently so she was secure against him. He wanted to kiss her really bad since they were alone in the room. His drunkenness just pushed him to do it.
Ava let’s out a quiet but happy hum as she kisses him back. This is nice. It’s finally just the two of them. No barking dogs or ringing phones or any of the other million interruptions they usually have to deal with. Giving his hand a light squeeze, she just enjoys this moment. Well, as much as she can in her less than sober state.
Cameron pulled away after a few moments, licking his lips. “You taste like vodka. Do you want me to play some music for us? It’s too quiet.” He was thinking along the same lines as her when it came down to noise. He liked the lack of interruptions but the silence got to him.
