"I dunno. They're nice though." He always wanted to take up painting. It'd be a nice past time. Maybe he'd ask one of his people to teach him. That' would be nice.

Scipio nodded. "So… have you always been the king of hell or have there been more? Like, family inheritance sort of thing."
"I fell from Heaven and this place was chaos, so I fixed it up. I'm the only one of my family line, and I will always be," He vowed, tilting his head.
Scipio nodded again. "Are you like… even able to have kids? Like, if you wanted to, of course."
"Sure I am," Lucifer said nonchalantly. "My body works like any other. I don't know why I'd want to, though."
"I mean, obviously I'm able to, but I have no desire to." Scipio shrugged, looking away from the ceiling. "You've probably seen some strange, sick, and twisted people show up here. Any fun stories?"
Lucifer seriously doubted that, but he kept it to himself for now. "I've seen a lot, but not really. Just a lot of people putting their hands on me. One was almost on top of me. Ugh." He shook his head. "I have stories but not fun ones."
"Mmm… are my parents dead? Is that something you're able to tell me? There's no way they're going to heaven, so…" Scipio's voice trailed off.
"Random question but I dunno. If they share your last name, I haven't seen anyone with your surname come through here. But that's all I'm gonna tell you," He huffed defensively.
"Alright. I mean, I'm only seventeen, so I guess it makes sense…" Scipio mused aloud. "Never much liked them, and the feeling was mutual."
"Hm. Seventeen, huh?" He glanced at the other. "You're too young to even exist around here." He chuckled and crossed his arms.
"Eh, I'm old enough. This is hell, so who gives a shit anyways? We're all sinners." Scipio stuck his tongue out a bit, grinning.
"Mmm you might say that, but may I remind you that Hell is not what you think it is," Lucifer just reminded him.
"Well, yeah, but still… I've murdered countless people. I think my age is the least of our concerns." Scipio brushed a bit of his hair out of his eyes.
"Yes, I'm just saying." He shrugged. "Not a lot of teenagers get here so quickly. In my defense, you don't look seventeen."
"Do I look older or younger?" Scipio let his hand fall back to his side, his hair just falling into his eyes again.
"Older," Lucifer hummed, stretching his legs. "There ain't nothing wrong with it, though. Anyway, do you want something to eat? I'll give you that dinner you demanded."
"Sure. I mean, I was joking about that, but I'll never turn down food. I'm a teenage boy, after all." Scipio grinned again.
"Mmmm." He grabbed and rang a small bell for the cooks, and they came in with the food he ordered earlier, except somehow there were two servings. They set it down on a wooden float thingy for them, and Lucifer approached it and beckoned for Scipio to join him.
Scipio hesitantly approached as well. "I'll just go ahead and assume it isn't poisoned. I've got nothing to lose, anyway." He took a bite. "Yeah, that doesn't taste like poison to me."
It tasted delicious, actually. It was a yummy steak-like food with asparagus. Lucifer started to dig into his, tearing into it with his sharp teeth.
"So… why are you suddenly being nice to me? You wanted nothing to do with me before." Scipio took another bite of food, looking up at Lucifer.
"I was bored, I told you. And you're the one who came to me," He answered rather defensively, ripping another piece for his own and biting a piece of asparagus.
Scipio nodded quietly, wanting to push it further but deciding it wouldn't be wise to do so. He didn't want to get kicked back to the basement.
Lucifer himself decided it was time to conclude that he also had no idea why he invited the other up. Maybe he just got lonely and liked the company of the spunky human?
"What does guilt feel like?" Scipio asked suddenly. "I know I don't experience it, but I get curious, you know?"
"Dunno," He answered with a shrug. "I couldn't tell you. It feels different for everyone." He chewed his steak, then took a sip of the wine brought to them.
Scipio took a sip of wine as well, a chill going down his spine. "Strange…"
Lucifer glanced at him over the rim of his cup. "What is strange?"
"I suppose it's the alcohol. I've never had it before." Scipio took another sip of wine and shivered again.
