May smiled a little back, "A-A while. It's kinda hard to control sometimes," She crossed her legs and leaned forwards a little, "But I wouldn't change it for anything else."

"I bet! That's a cool power!"
He said enthusiastically, leaning forward to her
"I gotta say, I'm a little jealous."
He sent an innocent smile towards her.

Her smile grew a fraction, “Shape shifting is cool though. Being able to manipulate shadows is kinda boring.”

"Yeah, i like my powers but, it's not very manly."
He said puffing out his chest dramatically with his hands on his side, his chin raised a bit, and with a tad bit of joking in his voice.

She giggled softly, shaking her head slightly, "You could turn into something manly, I think it's pretty cool."

"People don't allow anything cooler than a wolf, which… I guess is cool, but…meh"
He says laying back down in the grass.

"Why not? Can't you like… turn into a dragon or something?" She asked, raising a brow.

"Yeah, but not in school, its " illegal""
He says putting up his fingers, mimicking the quotation marks

She rolled her eyes, huffing a little, "That's boring, you should be able to shift into whatever you want."

"Well, I could accidentally crush people… I mean, we all are limited to how we can use our powers at school….mostly so we don't kill anyone."
He says to her crossing his arms

She shrugged and inclined her head in agreement, "I guess that's fair."

"Anywho, what're you doing after school?"
He asked laying on the grass.

She raised a brow, head tilting to the side, “Nothing, nothing that I know of, anyway.”

A little smile appears on his face as she talks,
"Well… You wanna hang out then? See I didn't actually have friends, and I've noticed you seemed….a bit lonely. So, I was just wondering, it's fine if you say no."
He says a bit shyly as he edges towards the end of his sentence.

May smiled sweetly, nodding at his words, “I’d love to hang out with you, as long as you don’t distract me in class again, that is.”

"No promises."
He said with a mischievous tone as he quickly sat up to look at her with a smile.

She rolled her eyes, throwing a handful of dirt at him, "Jerk."

"H-hey! I mean, that's just….i-"
He couldn't spit out the words with a while bunch of dirt in his eyes.
"Number one….that was not nice"
He says in between laughs as tears fall down his cheeks. (He's not sad he just got dirt thrown in his eyes XD)

May giggled softly, “Oh stop being such a baby, I’m sure there’s a water fountain you can wash your eyes out with.”

"What? I'm not crying! It's just what happens!!"
He says trying to get the dirt out of his eye.

"I never said you were crying." She grabbed her bag from near by, pulling out a water bottle and handing it to him.

"Well it was implied since you called me a baby"
He says taking the water bottle.
"Thanks"

"You're welcome." She replied, leaning back against the tree.

Getting the dirt out if his eye, he looks at her, handing her the water with a smile.
"So where should we go?"
He asks tilting his head a little.

May shrugged a shoulder, placing the water bottle in her bag, “Anywhere, I don’t mind.”

"Okay….what about the coffee shop? Wait no…thats to boring. Oh! We could get boba tea and then……no….well what if we just grabbed something to eat?"
He says, not knowing how to ask someone to hang out.

May giggled softly, "Sure, we can go get something to eat." She stood, grabbing her bag.

Standing up, dusting the dirt off of him, then looking at her with a smile.
"Tis a date! See ya after classes"
He says with a cute wink, though right as the bell ring he almost jumped out of his skin.

May rolled her eyes playfully with a soft giggle, “See you later, dork.” She replied, heading off to her own class.
