"What's the plan for today?" She asked waving to Lola as she came closer

"Hey Lola!! Ok great, now everyone's here!" Trinity's smile was from ear to ear. "So! I have a great feeling about this year's bets. What about y'all?"

Ashanti looked at Trinity. "Yeah, what is the plan for today?"

Kam grinned "oh you have no idea"

"Hmm… I don't know… does anyone else have an idea? I forgot to think about that." Trinity looked around excitedly at her friends, now all sitting at the picnic table.

Ashanti shrugged and looked at Kam. "What do you mean by 'you have no idea'?"

Lola listened to the conversation, smiling. "Well, I know what I'm doin'."

Kam looked at Ash with a glint in her eye "I meant that I'm willing to bet on a couple of things already." She smirked

Ashanti smiled. "I have a bet on one thing. But I am not sure its going to turn out well."

Lola grinned. "Well, what is it?"

Ashanti looked away. "I-I can't tell you."

Lola pouted, leaning on her hand. "Why noooooot?"

Ashanti whispered in her ear. "It is about you."

Lola smirked. "Oh?"

Trinity smiled. "This ought to be interesting…"

Ashanti turned to Trinity and frowned at her. "I think I need to go," Ashanti said while standing up. "Have fun." Then she turned around and left

Trinity sat in shock. "What was that about?"

Lola shrugged. "Who knows, with her."

Trinity looked back at Ashanti leaving, then she shrugged as well. "I guess so… Anyway, what is anyone betting on this year?"

"I'm betting that I get at least 6 people asking for your numbers in the first 2 weeks of school. Also that I finally get a job at the cafe." Kam laughed, winking at them

Trinity winked back at Kam. "Hmm… I'll add to that one, I bet 4 of them will be for me." She smiled slyly to the group.

Kam laughed and pushed Trinity. "So what do we have to eat?"

Trinity pushed Kam back. Then her eyes widened. "Oh my gosh! I don't have any food!… I'm sorry everyone I forgot… I was too excited to get to school…"

Ashanti sighed and hid in the girl's bathroom. I have nothing to bet on.
