Charolette groaned, but she still had a wide grin spread across her face. “Hurry up!! We’ll just get caught!”
He let out a giggle, and allowed himself a brisk sprint to her.
Charolette bounced excitedly and headed towards the doors. She pushed them open with a hand, squealing, “To the gardens!!”
He stopped at the doorway, finding himself more inhibitory.
Charolette walked into the hallway, looking side to side to check for anyone walking down either end.
"Come on," He whispered. "Its almost sunset, the garden is a lovely place to watch,"
“I’m so excited!” She giggled, reaching over to grab onto his fore-arm, “You lead!”
He pushed open the door for the two of them.

"All of it," he admitted.
Charlotte nodded, "Understandable. I like you," She decided, finally looking over at his face again.
He looked forward, quickly. "Well, um, well, that's good, I think,"
"Yes, it is good," Charlotte grinned, "I'm glad you're not dumb like the other boys our age."
"You've barely known me more than ten minutes," Peter breathed, brows furrowing, he looked sideways to a cluster of scarlet begonias.
"True," Charlotte shrugged, "But I'm usually a good judge of character if I say so myself."
"I hope, then, I don't let you down," he spoke softly.
Charolette walked closer, brushing up against him, “I have a feeling you won’t.”

He let out a short breath. "Well what makes you so sure?"
She shrugged, “I don’t know. You seem too rational and level headed.”
(Should we skip to when they’re older and courting?)
