My brother came over to me and started tapping my arm furiously. After a minute I looked up. "What do you need?"
"Umm…………Kayla dropped a bunch of books and mom is talking to her friend. Can you come help us clean up?" I groaned. "Okay I'm coming." I put my book down and walked over to a few feet away where my five year old sister was trying to pick up a bunch of books. "Okay let me help." I said, getting down to help her.

Of course, my book-life was interrupted by a loud tune coming from my purse. I sat up straight, blushing, then frantically tried to silence my stupid flip-phone. After fumbling with it for a moment, I finally pressed the right button and it shut up.

Connor sat there a moment, fiddling with their pencil. Deciding they probably weren't wanted at the table, they started to try and subtly pick their stuff up and move seats

Browsing almost lazily through the shelves in the classic literature section of the library, I consider my options. I already have ten other books out, so I’m limiting myself to two more. The Idiot, or Wuthering Heights?
