Sam looked around the cafeteria with contempt. Mortals. Not even worth their time. Heading to a random table, they decided to sit down, when a football player slid over to the seat they were about to take. Frowning in distaste, they were about to sit on the right side of the bench, but the same guy from earlier slid back to his former position, spinning around to face Sam with a smirk. "Hey, my buddies and I want to know something. Are you a f@^^*t… or a dy%e?" A collective intake of breath echoed throughout that area of tables.
Sam smiled sweetly. "And are you an asshole… or a dick?" They observed a girl with long messy black hair observing them from the next table over.
Wren Mason. She read to herself. Female, 12, human. Beside this information was a picture of a young girl with golden blonde hair pulled into a bun. Her dark brown eyes stared at Vozalynn as she walked around, her robe fluttering in the wind.
Wren walked down the sidewalk looking for pebbles and stones for her slingshot. She picked up a particularly smooth pebble. This one would work. Wren stopped when she spotted someone in a robe. What weirdo wore robes? Outside especially.
Vozalynn finally spotted a girl that looked like the picture she was holding. Well, that was quick. Man, I'm glad my crystal worked. She put her tablet away and put on a fake smile, walking up to the girl.

Floyd jogged along a rough terrain on a local park path that partly took him through the woods. He had always been fond of running, even doing track and cross country in highschool for some time. He made sure to watch the ground underneath him as he ran along the path, stopping for only a moment to lean against a tree and take deep breaths.
(Can the humans have magic?)
Wren frowned as the robe wearing weirdo approached her. She tightened her grip on her slingshot. 'Stranger danger. '
(if you want them to, but then they'd have to have some previous connection to the elven world)
Laurel, perched on a tree, spotted Lloyd. She stayed silent though, camouflaged in the branches.
As soon as class was over she rushed to the cafeteria, so she could eat her lunch. As she sat down, she heard a fight over the table next to hers. Apparently there was this new kid, who actually looked like a weirdo, but man she could really swear. The football players caught her eye, as she turned around to eat her lunch in peace.
"Hey, I'm Vozalynn." She started, unsure what to do now. Do I just…tell her to hold my hand and then hold the crystal up to the sun?
Floyd stayed there for a moment later, catching his breath, looking around at nature. He felt eyes on him, but told himself he was just being paranoid. He slowly began to walk again, making his way down a steep hill, toward a shallow stream.
Laurel climbed from tree to tree in persuit of her assigned human, not making a sound.

"Hi." Wren looked down at the strange person. She was shorter than Wren. She had a weird name. They stood there, silent. Wren spoke up. "Well, it was nice to meet you Vozlynn, but I have to go back. My dad is right around the corner." She said that hoping that would derail Vozalynn from following her.
Dad…shoot this might be difficult. "Listen," Vozalynn began, slightly annoyed that the younger girl was taller than her. "Wren, is it? You might want to hold on to me." She stated as she grabbed the girl's hand and held a different crystal, a pale blue one, up to the sun.
Floyd got down to the stream, watching the water for a moment before stepping across a few rocks to get to the other side of the path.
"LET GO OF ME!" Wren shouted, trying to wrench her hand out Vozalynn's grip.
Studying him and trying to calm her frightened heart, Laurel touched down in the grass, silent, and crept closer. Just because he’s a human doesn’t mean he’ll hurt you.
"Shut up." Vozalynn hissed. "Don't make this harder than it needs to be." A few people were staring and the girl's squirming made it harder for Vozalynn to hold the crystal in the right place.
Wren tried stomping on her foot.
The girl stepped on her foot, finally causing Vozalynn to let go of her. Shoot….
Wren raced down the sidewalk trying to get back to her house. Her dad wasn't actually outside. He was at work. But her mom was at home.
Vozalynn ran after the girl, actually happy about how fast she could run for once. Her cape billowed behind her and people stared at them. "Come back! It's not what you think! If you could just stop running, I could explain!"
Floyd quickened his pace, now going at a steady jog. He enjoyed the light wind that blew against his face.
