"Lloyd, you having bad feelings is normal by this point. The sun rises and sets, tides come in and out, and Lloyd feels bad."
"Lloyd, you having bad feelings is normal by this point. The sun rises and sets, tides come in and out, and Lloyd feels bad."
"I-I just feel so guilty about everything. Like… like it's always my fault when things happen…"
(WOOT WOOT IT BE MY BIRTHDAY AGAIN)
"Lloyd, just shut up. The more you talk, the worse you'll feel."
(Nooooice)
"Sorry…" Lloyd fell silent and lay his head on Belle's shoulder again.
She rolled her eyes with a smile but said nothing else.
(HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACKS!)
(Thanks Shade! If only Darren was here to celebrate it with us like he was last year…)
(Yeah…)
(Bump?)
(Yeah.)
(I think it might be your turn but idk)
(Lillian's just sitting there like an awkward child. I believe it's your turn.)
"We should get back to class soon… unless we're just staying here for the rest of the day."
Lillian nodded and stood back up, "We can do whatever you want to Lloyd."
"I don't think we should necessarily- whatever, I know what you mean, anyways… I… I think I might stay a little longer, but you guys can go if you want." Lloyd yawned a bit.
Lillian shrugged and sat back down, "I've got a free period. I can chill with you."
Lloyd nodded and leaned back against the wall, using breathing techniques he'd learned to calm himself down.
Lillian began calmly tapping along to the breathing. She recognized the pattern and hoped it would help with Lloyd.
After a good long while of this, Lloyd managed to release some of his tension and leaned his head back against the wall, sighing. Tear tracks were littered across his pale face.
Lillian looked to Lloyd, "Are you okay now?"
"I… I think so…" He responded quietly, hugging his knees close to his chest.
"That's good," Lillian nodded with a smile.
"Mhmm…" Lloyd lay his head on his knees, deciding he might as well stay until the end of the period.
"You can talk to me if you need to okay?" Lillian offered, "Otherwise I'll just be here with you."
Lloyd nodded and shifted his wings a bit, closing his eyes. Honestly, he really just wanted to go 'home' to his apartment, but he didn't want to just leave like that if he could help it.
Lillian began to quietly hum a soothing melody. For the sake of just calming everyone down.
Lloyd glanced up at Lillian gratefully, continuing his breathing techniques to further calm himself.
Lillian smiled back as she continued humming. Not intruding on Lloyd, just humming.
Eventually, with the paired breathing techniques and quiet humming, not to mention his general sleep deprivation, Lloyd started drifting off.
Lillian watched as Lloyd began to fall asleep. Good, he needed the sleep badly.
