( But, this isn't docter who. WHat does docter who have to do with a zombie apocolypse?!?)

(The Doctor doesn't exist in this universe exactly and also, she mentioned casually her employer is KATE STEWART SHE'S OBVIOUSLY REFERRING TO THAT VERSION OF UNIT!!!!!!)

Cash looks over his shoulder to say to Petronella, "Zoe could be mistaken." He tries to stamp down his annoyance towards the newcomer, but she does like to pester it seems. To Zoe he says, "I'm as suspicious as you….but we have to give her a little of the benefit the doubt. It seems she was here before the whole collapse of humanity….it seems she's stuck here and wants to get home."

" "Well there is no home" Besides weren't we all?" Zoe said in annoyance. " Well I'll agree if you agree." She sighed in defeat.

"Everyone has a home, whether it's a person or a place, everybody has a home." Cash shrugs his shoulders. "I'm not saying we should completely trust her. In times like these you probably shouldn't trust most people." He smirks, giving her a side-glance. "Hey, I'm not sure that I fully trust you yet."

Zoe rolled her eyes and gave him a playful push . " Well if you didn't trust me then we wouldn't be here right now would we?" She gave him a small smile then sighed. " Not sure if I have a home yet though."

Petronella said, "So, how long have you been together?"

"Hey, you've got Nico." Cash is struck with a sudden strong sense of jealousy. Zoe is the only person he's come across so far that still has living and/or un-Infected family. He keeps his smile on his face though, and gives Zoe an encouraging look. "That's something."

In reply to Petronella's question, he chuckles. Out of context that question could mean something different entirely. "I just joined this group yesterday. I think it's only been a group since then, as well."

She gave Peter a smile. " Well, you've got me and the others." She replied giving Cash the same encouraging look back. Gosh I can't believe it's been a day since we met." She said with a small smile.

(My character's name is Cash, by the way. :P )
Cash replies silently with a small smile. He looks back at the others and at the road behind them. They've reached the fields, and they're almost….well, not home….they're almost upon the warehouse. Cash can't wait to lock the outside world out for the night, and just sleep, knowing that his new "friends" are all safe…for the day.

Cowboy grins at the numerous footprints left behind by his "guests." They lead in a clear direction: to the old farm buildings not 5 miles out. He slings his rifles over either shoulders and follows the trail, being careful not to leave any tracks himself. If he keeps at a steady pace, he'll be to the farmland just after sundown….no rush.

Zoe felt the feeling again. They were being watched. She didn't want to be too noticeable, and she didn't know if the women was good at acting so she whispered very softly so only Cash could hear and nudged him. " Cash I think we're being follow we need to do something." She whispered and she quickly added. " And don't look back, don't want o be noticeable."

"So, what did you do before all this?"

Cash tenses up, ready, but whispers a quick, "okay." He replies to Petronella's question as if he actually enjoyed answering it and didn't know that they were possibly being followed. "Uh, I was still in high school. I didn't really have any serious career plans." A stiff smirk. "So, no dreams were crushed when all hell broke loose. You?" He addresses the question to all members of their ragtag group, fighting the urge to look behind them.

"Um, well, I was a scientist and assistant to Kate Stewart, and I had come here to meet with the U.N. in her place. She was quite busy working on cures for…. you know."

Cash nods. He knows a little about the various attempts at trying to cure the Plague. After the first several failed attempts, he'd given up on trying to scrounge enough hope to smile for each new announcement of a new attempt. "If they're still alive….do you think they're still trying?"

"Kate wouldn't die. She doesn't have the concentration. But, you know how they said UNIT had failed?" she asked slyly.

Cash sighs. "Let me guess, they actually succeeded, but they're not distributing it due to some sick population-control, humanity-restart plan?"

"No, actually we're still working on it. We had to go into hiding so we made up a fucked up news story as our cover."
