Jasper stared at the plate of syrup. Breaking out of his daze, he smiled "aw thank you, it's one of the new songs we're doing in class when I get back." He spread some Nutella on a crepe and wrapped it burrito style

She smiled and took a crepe of her own, rolling it tightly before dipping the end in syrup and biting the section off, “What other new songs did you plan on having the kids do when you got back?”

"well besides that one, I have a semi halloween one, and I want to try an instrumental one. Kinda want to try synchronised movement thing." He said with a half smile

“I think the kids will like those,” She agreed with a smile, eating happily and trying not to think about what homework she was going to have just for the week.

Jasper glanced down at his watch and sighed softly "we have an hour left."

Scarlett nodded, sighing slightly as well, "An hour before you have to leave? That's it?" She continued eating, trying to get a good breakfast in before classes.

He nodded "yep, you ready for classes?" he asked, trying to shy away from the subject of him leaving her

"Yeah, I just have to put my textbooks into my bag again," She said, leaning back in her chair once she finished eating and was full.

He nodded "what classes do you have today?" he asked, finishing off his last crepe and standing to grab the plates

Scarlett shrugged with a small smile, "I don't really know for sure, besides math and my other core classes." She nodded in thanks when he grabbed the plates and stood up as well, taking the Nutella and syrup and putting them back in the kitchen where they belonged,

"you've been in college for how long and you don't know your classes yet? Oh jeez Scar," he laughed softly and started washing the dishes as she put everything else away

"Hey, I just go day by day, I remember them..but not as well as I probably should," She replied with a laugh, cleaning up everything from breakfast while he washed dishes.

"my point." He said with a pointed look. He smiled and continued to washed dishes

She shrugged, grinning, "It is what it is." Scarlett finished putting everything away and walked over to Jasper. "Thank you," She said, hugging him from behind and trying not to think about how bored she was going to be on her week without him.

"what for?" Jasper asked, "if anything I should be sorry for leaving on such short notice." He turned in her hug andwrapped his arms around her waist

'For doing the dishes you dork, I hate having to wash dishes," She replied, smiling a little as he turned around in her embrace, "And you have a very good reason for leaving for this week, even if it was a little short notice. Family is important."

Jasper smiled softly "your welcome, and I know family is important but so are you." He tilted her head up with his ha d and kissed her softly

Scarlett's smile grew and she hummed against his lips, happy to have a little more time with him before he left for the week. "But still, I'm not as important as them," She murmured, pulling away from the kiss for a fraction of a second.

"no but you're pretty damn close." Pulling her closer, he turned around and helped her to sit on the counter

She sat on the edge of the counter with a shrug, eyes sparkling as she didn't leave her arms from around him, "I don't know how true that statement is, but sure."

He smiled and kissed her softly "oh believe me, it's true." He muttered, lips brushing hers softly

"Sure Jassie, sure," She replied as she blushed, kissing him softly and running a hand up through his hair.

"Fine, if you won't believe me now then I'll just keep saying it until you're tired of hearing it." He grinned and kissed her a little harsher though not enough to hurt her.

Scarlett grinned as well and kissed him back, pulling away after a moment, "I don't think I'll ever be tired of you saying anything, but it'll be challenging to get me to believe what you're saying is true."

"hm, maybe one day." He kissed her once more before helping her down. He headed to the door and grabbed his bag "ready to go?"

She held up a finger to signal one minute before dashing back to her room and making sure she had everything she needed for the day. With her bag on her back, she smiled and headed back to him, "Now I am, let's get going."

He smiled and took her hand in his, leading her out the door to the car outside. "I'll pick Lindsey and Theo up and then go to the campus." He said, opening the door for her

Scarlett nodded, getting in the passengers side seat so Lindsey and Theo could share the back seat. She put her bag by her feet and smiled, pushing away the thought that she had to go to school soon.

Jasper shut the door and got into the driver's seat "alright, let's go," He made his way out of the parking lot and towards his apartment

She nodded, already looking out the window and humming softly to herself. The city was already bursting with life, even at this time in the morning and she loved it. Watching the city come to life as they drove.
