Wolf looked around the empty street, making sure to keep close to Bridge as he did so. "Well, at least it'll be easy to spot a cloud of dark curls in this wasteland," Wolf said.

@bubblegum

Bridge smiled a little, walking close to Wolf down the sidewalk and eventually into an alley, where it would be easier to stay out of sight from…anything bad. "I…how far away would she be?"

@ElderGod-kirky group

Wolf scrunched up his face and looked around, acting as if he could telepathically locate his twin. "Hard to tell, but she can't be too far. We usually run into each other without meaning to when out and about."

@bubblegum

"Oh. Okay," Bridge responded, light filtered through the grids of fire escapes occasionally landing on his face, although it was mostly only shadows caused by the tall buildings as they walked.

They didn't have to wander too far. Wolf looked up when a strange shadow fell over them, and he smiled when he saw the familiar outline of his twin. He lightly nudged Bridge and pointed up at the girl sitting on the edge of a building, seemingly unaware of the two boys beneath her. The girl had on a raggedy cloak with the hood pulled over her face, a black long-sleeved shirt, gloves pulled over her slim fingers, black skinny jeans, and black knee-high boots with flat soles. Besides her face, not an inch of skin was showing—and even then, her face was hidden beneath the heavy shadows of her hood.

@bubblegum

Bridge looked up, tilting his head and smiling a little bit. That had to be Wolf's twin, he knew. He wasn't sure what to do - should he call out, move, or stay silent?

Wolf didn't say anything, but he did bend down to scoop up a small rock that he found. He smirked and stuck out his tongue, aiming, then threw the rock at the girl.

She didn't even need to look as her hand shot out and caught the rock before it could hit her. "Better luck next time," she said, pushing her hood back and looking down at them with a matching smirk. Just like Wolf's, her eyes were two different colors. However, they were the reverse of Wolf's. Her hair was a mass of untamable dark curls spilling over her shoulders, down her arms, and in her face. Next to her right eye (their left), which was blue, there was a light patch of red—burn marks.

Bridge pressed his lips together, unsure. She seemed like she could do the both of them some harm very easily, but she was Wolf's sister, so she had to be okay.

Wolf stuck his tongue out, sliding his hand into Bridge's and gently tugging him back. Once she had enough room, she slid off the ledge and landed in a neat crouch in front of them, straightening and shaking out her legs. She looked Bridge over with a sweep of her eyes, then held out a friendly hand to shake. "I'm Cinthia, the older and better twin of that idiot," she said, jerking her chin in Wolf's direction. He playfully scowled at her and let go of Bridge's hand.

@ElderGod-kirky group

Cinthia smiled as well. "Nice to meet you, Bridge." She looked up at her brother with a questioning brow, pushing back some of her flyaway curls. "How do you know my brother?"

@bubblegum

"No…he was nice. He's nice," Bridge said with a small smile, brushing some of his white hair out of his face.

@ElderGod-kirky group

"See?" Wolf said pointedly, huffing dramatically at her suggestion that he'd be mean.

Cinthia just rolled her eyes and waved her gloved hand around lazily. "Alright, alright. Any particular reason you two are out here?"

@ElderGod-kirky group

"Oh?" Cinthia looked back at her brother and tilted her head, crossing her arms over her chest. "Not that you're wrong, I did find you two, but care to explain why you were looking for me? Besides causing trouble," she added when Wolf opened his mouth.

He scowled at her, though it was half-hearted. "I was looking for you because I wanted you and Bridge to meet. And for you to cook lunch, because you're an amazing cook." She rolled her eyes at that but didn't protest.

@bubblegum

"The…well, the apartment is back there," Bridge said, glancing over his shoulder for a moment before turning back to the other two.

@ElderGod-kirky group

Cinthia thought about it for a moment, then sighed and ruffled Wolf's hair. He protested weakly and shrunk back from her, going towards Bridge. "Fine," she said, "Lead the way."

@bubblegum

Bridge smiled a little bit, walking close to Wolf back down the shadowed alley and into the street, where the sun was still bright.

@ElderGod-kirky group

Wolf tipped his head back to see if there were any clouds and was slightly disappointed when he didn't find any. Cinthia stayed behind the two and smirked to herself when she concluded that Wolf and Bridge were more than just people that ran into each other.

@bubblegum

They got back to the apartment alright, the key still fitting into the lock with no disturbance, the room just as they had left it. Bridge put the key on the counter and stepped farther into the room.

@ElderGod-kirky group

Wolf looked around quickly, then relaxed when he found nothing amiss. "Hey, would you look at that. Home sweet undisturbed home." Cinthia rolled her eyes and looked around silently, amazed that the two boys had found a place where the two of them could live.

@ElderGod-kirky group

Wolf nodded and looked to his twin, who was still standing by the front door. "I think so as well, or else we would've gotten some curious neighbors at our door a while ago," he said. Cinthia hummed, still looking around as she combed her fingers through her curls.

@bubblegum

Bridge leaned back against the couch, still a little shy of Cinthia but knowing it would probably pass with enough time.

@ElderGod-kirky group

Wolf glanced over at Bridge, then turned to Cinthia and spoke to her in a foreign tongue. That caught her attention, and the twins conversed briefly. She nodded and tugged at her gloves, but didn't take them off, and looked to Bridge. "Any sort of gourmet lunch you want? I can head out to get the food and leave you two be for a while."

@ElderGod-kirky group

Cinthia smiled softly, nodding. "Any specific kind of pizza?" she asked, not at all judgemental about his choice of food. Wolf was actually a fan of pizza.
