@Wheeze_For_Me mental breakdown isn't the correct term. Sensory overload is more accurate, since it seems your character suffers from some sort of sensory processing disorder or is possibly on the autism spectrum (which includes issues with sensory processing), a mental breakdown just doesn't make sense. Yes, having mild breakdowns and lashing out can happen in a case of sensory overload, but please, don't call it a mental breakdown.

Guts has little to no redeemable qualities. To add onto this, Guts also has no morals and could care less for the immorality of his actions.

Kugne is thought to be a ghost but they just have ghost-like abilities.

Kugne causes hallucinations to those around it. This cannot be turned off, and the hallucinations are typically designed to break down the prey and direct Kugne to them or the prey to Kugne.

Kugne isn't actually that evil, they just want their forest to be left alone.

Since both Kyoko's and Veronica's soul are in one body (Kyoko's body), One of them has to die out to keep the body intact. Veronica's soul is slowly seeking to eat away at Kyoko's.
