Good, I trust you alright? "Hey mom, dad, I have something to tell you. I have a boyfriend and hmm his name is Skye…" Zoltan looked up at his parents who stopped talking. There was silence and then hugs. The good part is…my parents like me having a boyfriend
Skye blushed darkly as he pulled his hair back into a braid before slipping out of their room. I'm headed downstairs…. he told the other, a little nervous.
You'll do great don't be nervous. Take a left when you get to the end of the hall then just walk down the stairs and I should be there "Actually he's coming down right now…"
Skye nodded, quickly folloingsaid directions, carefully coming down the stairs.
Both parents looked up, "Are you Skye?" the mom asked.
Skye nodded shyly, "That'd be me ma'am…"
"Your so polite, but no need, you can call me whatever you feel comfortable with," she smiled and came over to hug him tightly.
Skye hesitantly returned it, still nervous about the whole thing.
Relax…you look like you're in pain he chuckled.
Skye hummed softly, pulling back shyly. I'm just nervous okay?
Like I said just Relax I'm here with you alright? he smiled. "So how did you and my son meet?"
"By accident in the park…." he said softly, relaxing a little bit.
"Ahhh a meet-cute my favorites! So, how have you been? I want to feel as comfortable around us as possible."
"Between everything I'm just a bit out of my element…… but it's a working progress…" he said, still painfully aware of how new their relationship was, and the difference in social status.
"Well, the good thing is that you feel comfortable around each other. So, what do you do? It can be anything work and hang out at parks. Stuff like your interests."
Skye rubbed sheepishly at the back of his neck, "Mostly avoiding mafias and trying not to starve…." he said quietly, seeming to shrink back.
She means what you like to do like stargazing is one of them. Stop being so shy, just talk to them like you talk to me. Be more open. Not all things are bad…
I can't help it…. he sighed and backed away, "I'm sorry… people aren't my thing right now…"
"Oh, it's alright. Sit down hun, I promise we don't bite," the mom spoke with a smile on her face. "Well, I'm that my son has finally found someone," he dad spoke up.
Skye hummed, still nervous as he watched the pair, sitting down.
Once Skye sat down Zoltan pecked him on the cheek and whispered, "You're doing great…" he smiled, "So, how about we all go out to eat for breakfast?"
Skye hummed in embarrasment at that, letting Zoltan make the decisions.
Both of the parents nodded as they stood up, "We'll go pick something up, you guys stay here." they both left out the door as Zoltan sighed.
Skye sighed, curling up in his spot, "That could've gone better…."
He hugged him tight, “Well at least you talked.”
"Yeah…" he murmured, still not sure of himself.
Skye looked up hesitantly.
“You’re doing great okay? Never think less of who you are,” he softly kissed his lips closing.
Skye hummeed, moving to sit in the other's lap, snuggling against him.
