Lucian threw a glance behind him, and noticed the man was following a short distance behind them. His grip on Morrigan’s waist tightened a tad as he walked a tad bit quicker. He slipped the small bottles and package of gauze into his coat pocket, his other hand now free. He stuffed it into his other pocket, fingers on the grip of the scalpel.
Aaron licked his lips, icy blue eyes traveling over the shapely body of the young woman. It was then that his eyes fell upon a long scar on her neck. They widened, and a malicious, hungry grin spread over his face. He walked a little quicker. His daughter had returned.
Morrigan’s breaths came in short spurts and her eyes darted around, hit by a full on panic attack. Her heart squeezed painfully, and she blinked to dissipate Te tears forming in her eyes.
Lucian tugged her closer to him, pressing a kiss to the side of her head. “It’s okay, just concentrate on me. I’m not going to let anything happen to you,” he murmured.
Morrigan’s whole body shook, but she managed a nod, focusing on Lucian as they walked with a quick pace.
Behind them, Aaron sneered, now only a few meters away. He raised his new gun with muscled arms, a cold, savagely hungry gleam in his eyes. Aaron reached his hand forward to grab his daughter’s shoulder.

Lucian caught movement out of the corner of his eye, and he shifted Morrigan farther ahead sharply. He spun, the sharp medical tool brandished, and made a quick slash in the man’s forearm. “Get to the ship, I’ll be right there!” He called over his shoulder to Morrigan.

He bit his lip, trying to keep his emotions hidden like he always did. Images flashed through his mind. The fire. The house in ruins. His father's face as he spent all of the money to keep them alive.
(I have to go to a party in about thirty minutes so I'll be gone for another few hours)
Cicada walked around the deck. She still didn't understand the storm she sensed. Cicada decided to try the town to see if anything interesting was going on there. She took to the roofs running across them as if she owned Anjou.

Aaron stepped back, taken by surprise, but only momentarily. As Morrigan began to make a run for it, he cast aside his gun, drew a long, wickedly sharp dagger from his belt, and yanked her towards him by her injured arm, pinning her against his side and splaying a hand across her chest with a wicked grin just to show his dominance over her. Morrigan opened her mouth to cry out in pain, sling falling off her arm, but her father quickly brought his knife to her throat. “Hello again, Morrigan.”
"You're normally so good at keeping this in, why do you need to think about it now?" Ryan grumbled to himself. "It doesn't help to think about the past. It only makes you more vulnerable…"
Cicada saw Morrigan get pinned by someone. She decided not to interfere, yet.
“I swear to god, you bastard, I will beat the shit out of you if you don’t release her right now,” Lucian said, a slight growl in his tone as he gripped the scalpel tightly.
Lucian was taking action? Cicada looked down at the man maybe she should interfere.
Morrigan shook her head at him frantically, pain and terror etched in her face as Aaron laughed, his one hand traveling down her body while the other pressed the knife a bit harder against her throat. “I was a war general, boy, you can’t take me. Also, this is my daughter! I think I can do as I please with her.” Morrigan mouthed at Lucian to run, her injured arm beginning to bleed again, but her father noticed and flicked his dagger up, opening a gash in her cheek.

Lucian shook his head at Morrigan’s demands, staying where he was. “War General, huh? I don’t believe it. You want to prove that to me, old man?” He hissed sharply, doing his best to advert the situation away from Morrigan.
Aaron laughed again, groping at his daughter while she held her breath, wincing. “Take a single step towards me and her head flies off her shoulders.”
Lucian’s jaw clenched as he considered his options. If he couldn’t get close to the man, what the hell could he do to help? He glanced around, hoping that the crew had gotten suspicious about how long they were gone.
“I’ll be going then.” Aaron flashed a wicked grin. “I need to….. chat with my daughter.”
“You’re not going anywhere,” Lucian hissed, his grip adjusting on the scalpel as an idea lit up in his mind.
Aaron slid one hand up and wrapped it around Morrigan’s neck, squeezing tight. She gasped for air, eyes widening. “Are you sure about that?”
