"You can, and you're a wonderful actor!" Roman said.

"Thanks. Roman… I feel things when I'm around you." Deceit admitted. "Good things, good things! I mean… but they're confusing and new and I don't know…"

"It's fine. You'll learn what those emotions mean soon and it won't be as confusing. I can give you some time to think if you need it. I'd rather not stress you out," Roman said.

"Roman. Don't stress yourself out over this. We're good friends. But… well, I feel more than that. Like I wouldn't mind our friendship being… more than friendship." Deceit stammered.

Roman blushed. "As in dating?"

"Oh, hell, just kiss me you idiot!" Deceit said, pulling Roman close to him. "I've seen you, and while I'm out of practice being social, I know how feelings work, and you're not exactly one to hide things."

Roman kissed Deceit.

Deceit moved into the kiss, wrapping his arms around the back of Roman's head and snogging him for all it was worth. His snakelike forked tongue made the sensation strange, but really only hotter for it. However…

Logan needed to fetch Roman for script editing in Thomas's new video. However, what he walked in on prompted eye bleach, as one might say.

"Is this a bad time?" he said meekly. Deceit pulled away from Roman's mouth, making a mild pop! noise when he did. "Oh, um…" Deceit blushed all over, his scales turning a darker greenish-yellow and his human skin flushing red.

"Yes, this is a very bad time," Roman said. "Sorry you walked in on that."

"Very, very bad time." Deceit hissed a little. "Whatever you need can wait." he glared.

Roman looked at Logan. "Give us a few more minutes."

"Al-alright, yes, a few more minutes. Yes, okay. Good. Yes. I'll wait. Right." Logan said, his voice thin as he walked out. "Well, you're a good kisser. It'd be a shame to waste Logan's time by just standing here awkwardly," Deceit grinned deviously.

"Where were we?" Roman said.

(While this seriously implies smut from both points of view, that will not be allowed. I like ships, just not that. It's a rule I've made on another site because it makes me uncomfortable. Just saying in case you were about to go there. I'm not saying you were; this is just in case. It's happened in other role plays and I had to end them because I was uncomfortable. Back to enjoying this!)

(Nah I wasn't gonna go there actually, fear not. If you're uncomfortable by it, then that's alright because everyone has their own personal boundaries.)

"You idiot," he chuckled, pulling Roman's head towards his own and gently putting their foreheads together.

(Exactly. I made the rules after someone almost got me banned by my family for something I didn't like)

Roman smiled.

"Honestly, I had no idea how to say it and I was hoping you'd have brought it up before me." Deceit admitted.

"It's fine," Roman said.

"You're really cute like this, all flustered for me." Deceit grinned, a little mockingly but friendly enough to show he was joking.

(SORRY!!! I forgot!!!!)

(It's fine. I've done that multiple times throughout role plays. Of course, that was last year on a different site back when people would role play with me nonstop. Still, I've done the same quite a lot)

"It's because I love you," Roman said.

(Sorry for not responding! I've had a lot of medical shit to deal with and I'm here now if it helps?)

"Oh really? And here I thought you loathed me with all your being!" Deceit said, giving Roman a quick peck on the cheek. "You'd better go. Thomas doesn't want me around, Logan doesn't really care but Virgil and Patton don't hate my guts even though it's been established I totally am the villain here. It doesn't make sense, Patton and I are meant to hate each other and well, Virgil and I have some bad blood. Now go on, blow them all away!" Deceit patted Roman on the shoulder, nudging him forward towards the exit.

(Did you see the new TS Sides episode yet? Sorry I keep asking, it's just good and I want to bring in certain….. plot points uwu. Totally not up to anything devious. Also, I have a few headcanons I'd kinda like to use in this if I could run them by you? Or not, I still enjoy the plot how it's going, don't get me wrong, I just have writing ideas.)

(It's fine! I get busy too! Not much, but I do sometimes. Honestly, busy for me is writing a bunch of garbage fanfictions and hanging with my sister, which is why I haven't watched it. She also keeps using my earbuds, which is another problem. I will watch it soon! I promise!)

Roman looked at Deceit and smiled before leaving to join the others. "I'm here!" he said once he got there.

(I hope you do, because… well, I'll just say Trash Goblin and Flavoured Deodorant. You'll understand when you watch it. Also, Logan angst undertones but also our boi's time to shine uwu)

"Good. Thomas will be receiving the official casting list for Jekyll and Hyde later today, and Virgil's been having some difficulties with the play. Probably just nervousness over the role selection, but it would be good to check up on him." Logan rambled on about dates and times and dentist's appointments and groceries and video editing and scheduling and diet and things Roman didn't normally care about, but the play would probably have caught his attention to keep him at least somewhat focused. "…… and his birthday is coming up in a few days, and we're due for a good deep-clean of the house. Also, I should tell Patton that Thomas should watch the pizzas and maybe go to the gym more for his health, Thomas listens to Patton and Virgil the most but Virgil might deliver it too harshly and….." at this point Logan was simply rambling to himself.

Roman wasn't even paying attention. It bored him too much.

"You aren't listening, are you?" Logan asked softly. The light in his eyes dulled just the tiniest bit, but you could hardly notice it at all. "Its fine. Just… remember, casting list, alright?"

"You got it," Roman said.

Silence hung in the air between the two of them. "Don't say anything about Deceit. Patton will never accept him as one of the group. Virgil might do worse." Logan said. Sadly, it was true. The moral side, while empathetic towards Deceit's struggles, still was all around negative towards his presence and activities in the mindscape. Virgil and Deceit has some sort of bitter, ages old rivalry Logan never understood. And Logan? He was impartial, but Roman was his friend, and he protected his friends. "Don't bring it up to Thomas, either." Logan said after a short pause. "It will disrupt his functioning."

"Okay, I won't. I'm sorry you walked in on that," Roman said.

"Don't be sorry." Logan said. Silence, again, but it was heavier and far more uncomfortable this time, weighing you down with the discomfort. "So… you really do love him?"

"Of course I do! None of that would've happened if I didn't! I don't even care if the rest of you don't like him! I love him and I always will! If this love is wrong, I don't care and it'll never end!" Roman said, clearly getting annoyed, and with this, somewhat defensive.
