Tessa flinched when she saw the fire, the one type of bending she had yet to trust herself to use. She continued to crawl through the underbrush positioning herself behind the traveler. An unnatural gust of wind billowed through the air rustling the bushes to the side of the traveler.
Aura sighed and slowly turned. "Can we not do this right now. Stand down and I will stand down." Aura said and slowly lowered her sword the fire not going out right now. She was going to wait for them to stand down.
With the Traveler looking in the wrong direction Tessa jumped from her spot in the bushes and onto the travelers back, tackling the other girl reaching to get a hold on her sword hand.
Kieran gripped the reins of his dragon moose as he trotted down the road, eventually coming upon two bickering ladies…two fighting ladies. He snapped the reins a little harder to approach the two of them, “What’s going on here?” He called, noting that one of them held a flaming sword, and the other attempting to grab it. This would not end well, he guessed.
Aura felt the stranger jump onto her back and felt her reaching for her sword. She decided to engulf herself in flames. Not burning herself and only the person on her. She then tried throwing the person off.
Tessa hissed when the traveler engulfed herself in flame and flipped over the travelers head. she grabbed the travelers sword by the hilt and yanked bending the earth beneath the traveler hopeing to throw her off balance.
She fell off balance and realized something. This person just used Earth. Though that unnatural wind might have come from them. Also they were a awful thief because they didn't realize that the sword was plain with no value for re sale. She smiled as she hit the ground and looked at the girl. "So Duel force, need any help learning some flames?"

But her parents don’t want her to get hurt, but if something, or someone, gave her the adventure of a lifetime, they wouldn’t be against letting her go (if you know what I mean).

Tessa let go of the sword shocked, The blood pounded in her ears, "What do you mean I can't learn fire, I'm an earth bender." Tessa began backing up, most people weren't very observant, in her 5 years of thievery this was the first instance of someone figuring it out. So she turned and attempted to run away, forgetting she had reformed the earth to be uneven. Tessa tripped and rolled.
Katang is sitting in her family igloo, playing around with a vile of water her uncle gave her when she was six. To this day, she uses it to help her train herself to be a better waterbender.
Aura got up picked up her sword and sheathed it. Then went over to the girl. She smiled then helped her up. "Honestly you're a great thief but you have to remember to fix the ground and be prepared to fight back."

Toby leaned against the barrier of the bridge. He had to squint a little, the way the bright Arctic sun shine off the rough ice they used to build their frozen empire. With nothing to do today, he had spent more time thinking about what he wanted to do rather than doing it.
Then in runs her older brother, Sattara, towards Katang.
"Time to get up and train!!!" he states with a smile.
He's always the one reminding her to turn when she gets caught up in her mind thinking about her uncle.
"Okay, okay. I'm going," She answers her brother as she runs outside to train herself, a move that she's been trying to master for a while now.
Toby drew a circle in the light dusting of snow on the rail. "Hm.." he spoke to himself, then rubbed his chin, left snowflakes on his face.
Aura got up picked up her sword and sheathed it. Then went over to the girl. She smiled then helped her up. "Honestly you're a great thief but you have to remember to fix the ground and be prepared to fight back."
"Normally people don't come out of no where asking if you're the avatar, so sorry if I was shocked." Tessa said gruffly she accepted the older girls hand though. She fixed the ground as soon as she stood up, "So you're not going to turn me in for trying to steel from you right? Or do I have to change locations again, please don't well actually I should switch locations again any way the nobles have started to stop using this road." Frustrated that she couldn't just air bend her way up to the top of the nearest tree she grabbed the nearest branch, "Nice talking to you though, please don't report me, I have a pretty good record of not being seen, I'd hate to ruin it."
"Yeah. Let's just say I never saw you ever. Won't be good for me to turn in someone who almost robbed me." She said and smiled. "Also I wasn't kidding when I asked if you needed fire help, duel force." Aura said and walked away down the path and put up her hood. Maybe she would find somewhere else to hide out. Or find passage on the first boat she found and go wherever.
Katang reaches her normal spot, where she waterbends without distractions and begins to practice Ice Claws. Last time she tried, she almost froze her fingers. So, she definitely doesn't want a repeat of last time.

"Also I wasn't kidding when I asked if you needed fire help, duel force." Aura said and walked away down the path and put up her hood. Maybe she would find somewhere else to hide out. Or find passage on the first boat she found and go wherever.
Vincent fluttered to Tessa's side, as the fire bender walked off, the bird gave her a look, Tessa sighed, "Look Vince I can't just leave my life of crime! I wouldn't have found you with out it, I would be giving up on Mom and Dad I can't just leave to go actually learn how to be this weird hero every one wants me to be." The bird seemed to roll it's eye's, "But Vince I-I can't, you know I can't. I'm not strong enough to leave it all behind, this is who I am, It's who I chose to be! I'd become a target if I go with her, people have been searching for me for the past 15 years and I don't want to live my life under what some old guys think I should be doing with my life." Vince gave her another look, A look that a mother bird might give her young when they refuse to jump from the nest and fly. " But… I'm hiding, I'm hiding from a world that might need me, I'm hiding from everything aren't I… I'm refusing to fly." And with that her mind was made up. "Hey wait! Stranger fire lady! " Vincent also nipped her ear signalling that all those looks had simply been 'I'm hungry give me food'
The ring of the distant bell tower evicted Toby from his stupor of boredom. Right! He considered, the bell tower was in the center of the plaza just outside the palace. It was the best place for folks to train. Maybe he could watch. It's not like he was good enough to practice with them, surely he'd just make a fool of himself.
After the lengthy walk, Toby sat himself on the side of a spoutless fountain to watch the trainees.
Kalang was doing pretty good, and almost had the hang of it. Finally, her the tips of her fingers were covered in ice.
"Yes!!!" she exclaimed with a smile, as she carefully began to shift around in a fighting stance, trying to perfect moving around without breaking them.
He looked over to a girl, and he laughed a little at her reaction to the small success. He then remembered he himself probably couldn't do that, and sheepishly shut up.
Her brother walked up to her, careful not to disturb her while she was waterbending. He didn't want a repeat of two weeks ago. But Katang already knew that Sattara was behind her.
"Hey, what do you need?" She asked while she was in concentration.
"I was wondering if I could train with you? Maybe learn some stuff?" He asked with a smile.
"Of course!!" She stated with a smirk as she flung her ice claws off toward her brother, but a little toward the left.
Then she waved her brother over and started helping him train.
At this point, Toby had been wondering how to get her attention. I mean, I'm awful at jokes. He considered falling down on purpose, or something, but eliminated that as simply too embarrassing. When the girl's brother showed up, he just opted to sit still and try to forget about this interest at all. The last thing he wanted to do was ruffle feathers over something as trivial and superficial as a.. not a crush, I hardly know her, just an interest. Get to know her, maybe just as a friend, too.

"Hmm are you now? Alright." Aura said and smiled then looked around at the abandoned path area. "Are you sure you're ready?"
Tessa laughed, "Nope, but I never will be, might as well leave now before I change my mind."
