Bridge froze where he was, smile fading quickly as he brought his knees back up to his chest again. This couldn't end well for Dave nor Scipio.

"…Di cosa vuoi parlare?" "Well, I was going to talk to you about that trick you pulled earlier, but now I'd rather talk about this." Dave chuckled. "Non sono affari tuoi." "Well, seeing that I'm your guard, I'd say it is my business." "Vaffanculo o ti spezzo il collo." "Now now, Scorpion. It isn't nice to break people's necks."

Bridge found it rather surprising that Dave knew all this Italian, although he supposed he'd heard it a lot from Scipio. He almost seemed to shrink in size, watching the two argue.

"Vuoi seriamente combattere ancora? Ricorda come è finito per te prima, Dave." Dave sighed. "Fine. I'll go. Don't think I've forgotten this, though." He smirked and left, locking the door behind him.

Bridge eventually looked up, not taking his knees away from his chest quite yet. "What…what did he want?"

"He wanted to talk about the trick we pulled earlier, but he was more interested in why I was blushing. I told him to fuck off or I'd snap his neck." Scipio sat down and stared angrily at the wall.

"Oh." Bridge paused for a moment, pressing his lips together. He knew if he pet his hair, he would calm down, but he wasn't sure if he should.

"It's none of his business…" Scipio muttered, tapping his foot restlessly.

"I…I know it's not," Bridge replied quietly, looking over to him and reaching out hesitantly to touch his hair again.

"And he wonders why I hate him so much…"

Bridge remained silent, pressing his lips together and running a hand through his hair. It was still just as soft.

Scipio closed his eyes and sighed, holding his face in his hands. "I just want him to go away…"

"I…I know you do," Bridge eventually said, although his voice was quiet. "I don't…don't like him either."

Scipio nodded. "I don't even care if he dies or not, I just want him gone…"

"I know." He said in a small voice, falling silent again.

Scipio lay his head on Bridge's shoulder. "If he doesn't leave me alone I might kill him."

Bridge blushed a little at his touch, not at all minding it, however small it was. "That…you might get moved."

"I dunno. I think the guards have noticed that I don't plan on killing you. There's no need to separate us."

"Oh." Bridge paused. "Good. That's…that's good."

"Yeah, they know when I'm plotting. I used to be very good at hiding it, but then I stopped caring."

"Oh." Bridge was pretty sure he wasn't plotting anything - not on him, at least. "What…what do you plot?"

"Mostly murder, but occasionally tricks like the one we pulled earlier. They didn't see that, though, since it was spur of the moment. Most of my tricks are like that."

"Oh." Bridge looked over to him, still petting his hair. "Have…have you ever killed anyone in here?"

"Yeah, sure. That's why they don't like to let me out much."

Bridge pressed his lips together nervously for a moment, convincing himself Scipio had no intention of killing him. "Have…have you ever killed a roommate?"

"No, I don't think so. Usually they're smart enough to keep to themselves. I've had roommates kill themselves, though." Scipio hummed softly.

Bridge fell silent again, looking over at him for a moment before returning his gaze to the floor.

"I think you'll be okay. You don't seem like you're going to kill yourself."

"I don't…I don't think I will," He mumbled softly, almost forgetting everything that had happened before.

"You're alright." Scipio patted Bridge's head.
