(Their stubbornness will be their downfall lol Hm….we could have them run into each other? Or her father can throw a party and his restaurant caters it? Idk)

Deleted user

(HHmmmm well since Cam's restaurant is so far away idk if that'll happen. I guess running into each other? Oooh maybe at the restaurant they had their first date at?)

@LolaBug

(That's a good idea! So we'll have them awkwardly run into each other at their first date restaurant? How long should it have been since the fight?)

Deleted user

(Yep! Ummm maybe another few months? Cameron just swings by to borrow something or actually sit down to eat and she comes in and sees him?)

(Alrighty let me start)

Cameron left his normal stressful schedule to go relax in one of his favorite other restaurants, asking to get seated in the back. He just wanted to relax and de-stress himself with good food he didn't make himself. He relaxed in the booth he was seated in, exhaling softly and running his fingers through his fluffy brown hair. It felt good to be in this non-crowded place. Really good.

@LolaBug

Ava steps into the restaurant, perfectly relaxed. She just finished a meeting with a potential new recruit and it had gone really well so she decided to grab a bite to eat before retiring to her hotel room. The hostess leads her to a table in the back. It's going to be nice to eat a delicious meal without loud people surrounding her. She takes a seat and looks around the room. Her eyes land on a familiar figure in a booth near her. Of course he would be here. She quickly looks away, refusing to let his presence ruin her evening.

Cameron didn't notice her, he only was enjoying a soup that he ordered as an appetizer, sipping it politely as he kept his eyes down and reading the menu. He set the cup down and grabbed his chopsticks, the snapping noise that separated them the only noise between them. He grabbed some noodles out of the cup and ate it, grinning at the tastiness of it. He might ask for more, it was delicious. But he settled on an entree like it, a tasty noodle bowl.

@LolaBug

Ava glances briefly at the menu before deciding to order Gyoza for her appetizer. She doesn't have anywhere to be so she can take her time and really enjoy this meal. The dumplings arrive a few minutes later. She politely thanks her waitress before she begins to quietly eat. With a hum of appreciation, she savors the taste of her first bite of dumpling. The food here is amazing and she really does need to come more often.

The same waitress stopped near Cameron's booth and asked for his order. He placed it and ordered another appetizer of spring rolls, then sighed and looked down at the table again. He pulled out his phone, and it might look like he's doing important stuff, but he was really just playing solitaire as he waited, tapping his fingers on the table. The only bad thing about this place was that it took a bit for the food to come out, but that was a good sign it was being made in the restaurant.

@LolaBug

Ava pulls out her phone and starts to type out an email to her father, telling him how it had gone with the potential recruit. If he passes the first round of training and if her father approves then he'll start full fledged training. She looks up when the waitress approaches and decides to order her main course, Combination Tempura. It's basically rice, fried vegetables, shrimp, white fish, and crab. She then turns back to finishing the insanely long email.

Cameron heard her voice but passed it off as his imagination, going back to his game. He ran his hand through his hair, and good thing he did, because soon his meal was brought out. He sat up and set his phone down with a grin, digging in immediately. It tasted insanely good, with the thick noodles, egg, and choice of fish in his bowl. He ate it slowly, enjoying the savoriness of it, along with his spring rolls which waited at his elbow.

@LolaBug

Ava sends the email and sets her phone down. With a quiet sigh, she finishes the last dumpling she has. The waitress soon arrives and brings her food. She thanks her before starting to eat. As usual, everything is delicious. Kletin doesn't have a decent Japanese restaurant so she has to come here whenever she wants some. She takes a bite of the crab, a small smile tugging at her lips. If she was any good at cooking then she'd try to learn how to make this.

Cameron finished with his ramen, humming happily and pulling the bowl to the side. He had finished quicker than what he anticipated. All well, right? He finished up his spring rolls and pulled out his card to pay, which had been set at his table when he asked for it. He lifted up his phone again and continued his game of solitaire, sighing a little. He hated eating alone, but it was sort of his fault. He didn't ask anyone to go with him.

@LolaBug

"I'll have the Japanese Mochi Cake to go and the check, please," Ava orders politely. She may as head back to the hotel now. There's a soccer game starting on TV soon so she could probably watch that. Pulling out her wallet, she counts out enough cash for the bill and then for a hefty tip. She picks up the little box that her dessert is in before standing up and pushing her chair in.

As she counted money Cameron accepted his card back and stood, only glancing at her once as he looked up from his wallet. He decided not to say anything. It was best to keep the silence between them, and possibly forever. Cameron could hopefully meet someone like her, who liked him as much as she did. Honestly, would he? No, because he was impossible to love. He was too stubborn for his own good. It was literally why he got a divorce. His ex-wife was just over it. And so was Ava.

@LolaBug

Ava tucks her phone away and settles her bag on her shoulder. Feeling eyes on her, she turns her head and steals a glance at Cameron. She really misses him but she’s still so loaded off about the whole Russia thing. Tearing her eyes away from him, she heads out of the restaurant. Talking to him isn’t an option so she may as well leave and get back to the hotel. Doing something stupid just isn’t on the agenda for today.

Cameron had his eyes off her the moment he spotted her, huffing and shoving his hands into his pockets. He'd just be lonely and miserable, that one uncle who is really great and nice but no aunt to calm him down. It was really going to suck, living like that, but he could do it. He did it for a while, but now it was just bothering him. He didn't really have much time left. He was turning forty-one next year. That was going to be one hell and a half for him, and he didn't want to make some unsuspecting woman think he was younger than what he clearly looked. He shrugged off his thoughts and looked both ways before crossing the street and back down to his restaurant. He had too much to worry about.

@LolaBug

Ava doesn’t even bother to check for cars before she crosses the street. The sound of her phone ringing startles her out of her less than pleasant thoughts. “Hello? Chris, what the hell are you talking about? Yeah, it’s normal for him to jump up on the kitchen counter, he likes to look out of the window.” She rolls her eyes at her bother’s confusion over Kreja’s behavior. “Chris, he’s a weird dog. Just let him do what he wants, he knows the rules.” That’s a lie but she figures that the dog won’t do anything too crazy. “I’ll be home tomorrow morning, don’t worry. You can survive until then, can’t you?” Laughing, she shakes her head. “Tell Kreja to be a good boy and that I miss him and love him. Yeah, I miss you and love you too, you idiot.” With a fond smile, she hangs up and tucks her phone away again.

@LolaBug

(Hm……..maybe Kreja could escape the house and show up at Cameron’s doorsteps? That would force Ava to go over there.)

Deleted user

(oooooOh! Yaas! And maybe something's happening to Lily that makes them bond again over concern/grief for her?)

@LolaBug

Kreja scratches at Cameron’s front door, barking and whining loudly. He rears up on his hind legs and continues to paw and scratch at the door. Demanding to be heard, he throws his head back and howls got as loud and as long as he can.

Ava is in panic mode. Her darling angel of a dog is nowhere to be found and it’s beyond worrying. “Kreja!” She calls out his name as she searches around the entire area. What if something happened to him? He could be lost or hurt. Just the thought of that is enough her make her nauseous. That dog, as crazy as he is, means the world to her and she’d be heart broken if something happened to him.

Cameron was laying down with Lily outside, stroking her flanks as she breathed slowly in sleep. The winter was doing one hell of a toll on her limbs, but now that it was spring and much warmer, he hoped to take her outside and let her relax. But their moment was ruined by loud howling, making Cameron stand with a groan. Lily seemed to pass her aching limbs to him. He crossed across his house to his door opening it with his eyebrows raised a little.

"Kreja, what the hell are you doing here?" He asked the crazy dog, bending down a little to scratch at his ears. "Hell, it's good you did. Lily missed you."
