I’m quiet when people threaten me. “You…” He couldn’t finish the sentence.

Scipio raised an eyebrow questioningly.

“You said you could kill me,” He said eventually, looking to the wall.

"I can. I also said I didn't want to. What are you so upset about?"

“I…sorry. I guess…I guess it reminded me of my dad. That’s all.”

"Why does that remind you of your dad?"

“He…he would threaten me a lot,” Bridge explained.

"I don't think he's actually capable of killing someone though. Sounds like a coward to me."

Bridge looked down at him, surprised. “He would sometimes try…very hard.”

"Yeah, but he didn't. If I wanted someone dead, they'd be dead."

“Oh.” Bridge paused. “He…he sometimes said he wished I didn’t exist. He made…he made me not exist.”

"But you do exist. Unless I have actually gone insane in here…" Scipio reached a hand up and touched Bridge's face. "No, you're real."

“I didn’t…didn’t feel like it,” He admitted, blushing a little at his touch.

Scipio's hand remained where it was. "But you are real, and that's what matters, isn't it? Nothing he says can make you cease to exist entirely."

“Not…not really. But he made me feel like it.”

"How could you feel like you don't exist if you're obviously real?"

“He was very…” Bridge’s eyes danced around the room until they settled back on Scipio. “Convincing.”

"Tell him to fuck off. Being convincing is my thing."

“I couldn’t do that,” Bridge said quietly.

"Well, tell him that I said to fuck off if it helps your conscience."

“Oh.” Bridge smiled a little. “Thank you.”

Scipio nodded and let his hand fall back to his side. "Although, you can't exactly talk to him from in here."

“Yeah…I know.” He sighed a little, sort of wanting Scipio to touch him again but not voicing it.

(What if his dad got sent to the asylum and Scipio beat him up)
"If I meet him, I'll beat his ass." Scipio said simply, closing his eyes.

“Thank you,” Bridge repeated softly, large gold eyes looking at Scipio.

"Mm… if anyone should be here, it's probably him. I've met a lot of insane people, and he doesn't seem to be in his right mind."

"I…he was mad a lot. He was even mad at my mom. And she was…she was dead," Bridge told him.

(We might want to wait a little bit)
"How could you be mad at a dead person? They can't do anything."

((Alright))
"I don't…I don't know. But he was. He was also sad…at the same time. He was mad at her, but sad she died." He explained carefully, looking down to Scipio to see his reaction.

Scipio nodded, but didn't really seem to understand the concept of being sad when someone died.
