"Daso, please stop giving Jared crap. I know she's rough around the edges, but that's why I'm here: to smooth those edges down. I can help her. Just give me time, and her a chance."

Kameo looked down from the mast. It was a long way. What if he fell down? Would he die? Hopefully.
"A nerd. Funny way to pronounce asshole." Daso rolled his eyes.
( Ha. That's funny. )
(This is too funny. XD)
"Sure," Cicada shrugged, "Only if I can stab her somewhere not needed."
"Sorry, Silver," Daso said with a sardonic grin, "Even I have my limits."

"I know. But even I get tired of her bullcrap."

(You deserve it.)
"Don't worry Daso."
"What is her issue, anyway?" he asked.
"I don't know. She never told me. I guess we'll never know what goes on in that funny old head of hers."
Leah walked towards the deck, pausing to talk to one of the crew members. Mechanical problems. She would have to take a look at that later today. She continued across the deck, checking the rigging and the knots.
"Why do you make excuses for her behavior if you don't know a thing about her?" he wondered, frowning. "Maybe she's really just a horrible person."
"Hey Captain!" Cicada spotted the captain checking the rigging.
"Well…. she saved my life. I need to repay her for it. She is so much more than you know her to be. She was a hero once."
"Hey, red." Leah replied, nodding in her direction then returning her focus to the rope.
"Hard to believe, but i'll take your word for it," Daso was all smiles again. "Afternoon Captain!"
"Hello, Captain." Silver nodded.
"Afternoon." Leah called out, smiling and tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. She kneeled down and started on fixing the rigging. The Sirens had really caused some damage.
A chorus of 'Captains' could be heard from below and Kameo decided that falling off the mast was not a good idea. He climbed down, Ace's ashes strapped to his back and waved to Leah. "Hey Cap."
"Daso, I can tell you about it later. For now, let's just work on repairs."
"Fine by me," Cicada walked away to go check on some of the remaining riggings.
Leah nodded in Kameo's direction, narrowing her eyes at the sun's rays. She looked upwards towards the masts and pulled herself up to fix the rigging. After climbing for a few moments, Leah looked down dizzy from the heights. Just. . . don't look down. She told herself, shaking her head and pushing childhood memories away.
Silver worked on new planks for the ship. Though it was strange, he felt comfort in talking to the ship. "Don't worry, Andromeda. We'll fix you up."
Daso wandered about the deck, wondering what he could do to help. He was woefully inept at working on really anything.
Whoah I missed a lot hi guys!! Yay @Nessie is baccccc!!! Mor and Lucian are kinda stuck at the market place rn cuz @Opia isn’t back yet, so idk what to do…)
"Want to get up here, Daso? I could use some help." Leah called down, her hair blowing every which way in the sea breeze. She steadied herself on the mast, praying that she wouldn't fall.
Daso grinned up at her. "Anything for you." Glad that he had at least something to do, he began to climb up to the mast. Even though his arms still ached from the siren attack, the height was freeing. The breeze felt amazing and he felt like he was on top of the world.

( Well, idk. You could describe Anjou if you want to write something rn )
"Glad you're liking the heights. . ." Leah muttered, glancing down at the ground and back up at Daso. All she could think about was falling from the mast.
