Seong-Jin walked through the pathway with his chin up high. As he walked he felt someone touch his soft feathers on his wing. He quickly spread out his wing knocking the child who had touched it, then put his wing back to his back. The air was still cold, provably from all of the ice tricks the others were doing. Some ladies fawning over him but he had to resist pushing them over to. He couldn't STAND people gawking over him. He's always been good looking, and well he hates it. He uses it wisely though.
Kai walked through the pathway with a confident smile, but on the inside he was nervous. He knew he had to be careful not to show it. So, he kept smiling confidently.
(Guys, I'm so sorry! Can someone briefly explain what is going on and where everyone is?)
(Darn it. I shouldn’t have done that lol)
“Our rooms,” Ara said simply. “The place where the Tributes stay while they wait for the Games.” She pointed to the signs. “That’s how I know. Also, I’ve seen the clips of other Tributes going this way after the train.”
Blaise smiled gently at her. “Come on. We should go now. We have to get to our rooms, and then you can go back to sleep. I know I will.”
(So, Water people are walking to their rooms, Fires are still on the train, Air male is walking to the building where the Tributes sleep, and Earth is too.)
Kai walks into the building and immediately starts looking for his room.
Royce nodded and smiled. He was starting to like this teammate of his even more. He followed her gently with his hands behind his back.
Ara came a door that seemed to be made of water, and rolled her eyes. “Of course, this is our room. You know, this year’s Tributes are more ice than water, but what do they care?” She places a finger on the door and it froze, turning different shades and tones of blue. She opened it and featured for Royce to enter. “Ladies first,” She said with a small smirk.
Royce was possibly prepared for that situation as he turned a page and without writing anything.
Hahah… very funny…
Ara snorted. “I know, right? I’m just a barrel of laughs, aren’t I?” Her smirk widened. “Did you write that earlier?”
Cara lazily strolled behind her teammate. This is ridiculous. I'm going to have a serious talk with Vexa after this…
Peipe shuffled slowly behind her teammate. She wouldn't talk to anyone and she wouldn't stop trembling either.
Royce nodded and turned to the next page which was also written.
I was prepared and was expecting something like this he showed her with a tender smile.
Kai finally found the room for his teammate and him, so he opens the door and walks in.
“What?” She asked playfully. “Am I that predictable?” She shoved him into the room and followed after
(Okay!)
Peipe followed Kai hesitantly. Her fingers shook, so she gripped her shirt to keep them still.
Kai closes the door behind Peipe and takes a deep breath.
"So, you don't wanna hurt anyone either?" He asks with a calm, reassuring smile.
Blaise smiled gently at her. “Come on. We should go now. We have to get to our rooms, and then you can go back to sleep. I know I will.”
Ash laughed. "Definitely." She looked around for the exit.
Royce landed face first on the floor. He slowly stood up and landed himself on one of the beds with a jump. He cuddled against the pillow like a child would.
Kai closes the door behind Peipe and takes a deep breath.
"So, you don't wanna hurt anyone either?" He asks with a calm, reassuring smile.
She looked up in a mix of surprise and panic. "No," she whispered.
Kai looks at her with a smile.
"Hmm, and you're shy. Which might either get you target first or left for last. Probably the first one. Do you want me to help you with that?" Kai asks sincerely with a reassuring smile.
Ara laughed. He really was a baby. She was disappointed that they didn’t have separate rooms, but pleased that her side had curtains around it. She dropped onto a chair and leaned back, staring at the ceiling, thinking. She could sneak out later tonight. She didn’t think that there would be guards, and she wanted to look around.
She looked incredibly worried. "I… I don't… I don't want to die," she said slowly.
"It's okay. I'll protect and so will Seong-Jin. I allied with him. I'll just have to talk to him about it. But, is all that okay with you?" He asks sincerely.
She nodded. "I'm scared," she whispered faintly.
"It's okay. Do you want a hug? Is it okay if I hug you?" He asks sincerely.
Royce decided it might be fun to see Ara slightly angry or annoyed. He threw the pillow he cuddled with at Ara.
Her eyes widened slightly. "Are you going to hit me?" she asked quietly.
The pillow hit her in the face and she snapped her head up, looking at him with deadly eyes. “Did you just throw a pillow at me?” She asked dangerously, but with a playful edge to her tone.
Royce showed her a page he had written during that time.
Maybe…? he smiled playfully.
