Sighing, Blaise tried to fall asleep, and soon managed to, although it was a right one.

Ara glances at him and snorts before pulling the knife from the wall. She puts it back in its place and sits down again, not bothering to eat anything. “So,” she says calmly, drumming her liking fingernails on the table, “Can you generate ice and coldness from thin air, or does there need to be moisture?”
Royce set down the pack of chips and wrote something on his notebook.
There needs to be moisture, he got out a bottle of water from his bag and opened it. He poured out some and it immediately froze when he looked at it directly. He smiled at what he made. As he touched it, the ice turned to water within seconds and then to vapor soon after.
He flipped the notebook where something else was written on it.
Or you could say that I can change any body of water, no matter how large or small. Though of course, my energy will run out if I use it too much
Ara tilted her head. “Huh. But it doesn’t matter how much?”
Royce shook his head.
As long as there is water, unless it is too thick of a liquid then I can’t control it he added with another page of his notebook.
He went back to enjoying his chips with a childish smile.
“Too thick? Is that even a thing?” Ara held out her palm and a long, shimmering icicle grew.
Royce shook his head slightly before writing something else on his notes.
I’m talking about liquids like syrup or ketchup
It might be a bad idea to sleep here, maybe I should go look for my room (his thoughts).
“Oh. Does ketchup even count as a liquid?” H icicle melted, and Ara yapped her finger on the table.
Royce wrote something as he shrugged.
I suppose not he voicelessly laughed behind the notebook he held up to his face.
Ara raised an eyebrow. “Whatever.” She shrugged and stood, starting to pace. Ice followed her every step, and crunhed as she put each foot down.
(I’ll be back soon)
(Okay!)
Kai shifts in his seat, feeling a little bored. So, he decides to look out the window.
Seong found a comfortable position to sleep in. This'll probably be the last time he'll get a good night's sleep for a while. He doses off while the train runs smoothly on the tracks with a big bump here and there.
Ara raised an eyebrow. “Whatever.” She shrugged and stood, starting to pace. Ice followed her every step, and crunhed as she put each foot down.
Royce, literally, followed her footsteps. He evaporated every ice pool Ara made when he stepped on them. He smiled politely on his own as he walked. He carried the notebook in his hand.
Soon Kai drifts off to sleep.
Soon, though, the train arrived at the Capital. Ara stood in the doorway, waiting until it was her turn to leave the train to greet the throngs of people that surrounded it. She was the perfect picture of calm, her face smooth and eyes blank. She let a small smirk cross her features as she watched the crowd. “Pathetic, aren’t they?” She said, more to herself than anyone else.
Blaise woke as the train jerked to a halt and stood. “We’re here,” he said, shaking Ash gently awake.
Royce followed Ara soon after. He had a page opened to which he showed to everyone he passed by.
Greetings there people! ^-^ was written (and drawn) on that specific page. He was smiling slightly, enjoying himself like this. He had his bottle of water in his other hand, gripping it like he was going to do something with it soon enough.
Ara ignored everyone. She held her head high and walked purposefully towards the building where they were staying. She smirked slightly as someone fell to the path in front of her. Extending her hand, she helped them up, and they yelped with the cold of her skin.
Royce noticed how the streets were slightly wet. He saw a couple walking towards the water stained road and decided that it might be a good idea to separate them.
He glanced at the slightly wet floor and that immediately turned into ice. The couple stepped on the thin ice and slipped, hitting their back on the ice. It didn’t hurt much, it was just annoying. Royce voicelessly giggled as he followed Ara.
Ara saw and snorted. “Poor people can’t even walk on ice,” she sneered. She swept her hair back, revealing her gills, and as she did so, and icy wind blew, making many of them shiver. “They don’t much like the cold,” she remarked, smirking.
Royce nodded and stared at the thin ice the couple were on. The ice sheet evaporated and the vapor divided him and the crowd. As he walked, the vapor condensed back into water and then frozen into icicles that fall to every step he took.
Ara glanced back at him. “You’re just showing off, aren’t you?” She had covered the ground in front of her with swirling ice, creating a path to the building. She was showing off, in fact.
Right back at you he showed this to Ara with a slight smile as he continued to follow her.
She shrugged. “I’m not denying it.” She stepped through the doors and down the hall to the elevator. Where she stepped, ice swarmed from that spot and up the walls, in delicate patterns, encasing the place in ice.
(Why… why is this reminding me of—)
(Six-year-old cousin from another room : LET IT GO, LET IT GO!!)
Royce glanced at the patterns the ice created and delicately smiled.
These are beautiful he showed to Ara as he caught up to her.
(Me: CAN’T HOLD IT BACK ANYMORE! I mean, um… nothing.)
Ara shrugged. “Are they? They’re not my best. I think they’re too pretty, but hey, it impresses people, which is the best part of them.”
(Nope, too late now)
Royce nodded. He smiled to confirm his thought. He turned a page.
By the way, where are we going?
Blaise woke as the train jerked to a halt and stood. “We’re here,” he said, shaking Ash gently awake.
Ash jolted awake, immediately standing up. She was disoriented, assessment planned on falling asleep in the first place. She reached for her dagger before remembering she didn't have it. That was when she realized where she was, and sighed.
Kai jolted awake as the train stopped, and rubbed his eyes sleepily as he prepared himself for what was to come.
