Arthur laughed, pulling out a clean pan to make sausage.

Alfie huffed and went to the bedroom, doing the mature thing in ingroing him

Arthur sighed, setting about making dinner.

Alfie got bored so he started making a mess in the bedroom

Arthur had dinner ready an hour later, calling for Alfie to come eat.

Alfie had burried himself under a lot of clothes and couldn't hear anything very well

Arthur stepped into the room, and burst out laughing when he saw te mess.

Alfie popped his head out, glaring at him. He dove back under the clothes

Arthur sighed, "Food is ready" he said.

Alfie didn't answer.

"Come on, you have to eat" he said.

Alfies words were muffled through the pile of clothes

"Couldn't hear you hun" he said, crouching by the pile of clothes.

Alfie's words were still muffled, just louder.

"I still can't understand you" he said.

Alfie poked his head out again with a glare

Arthur watched him "what's wrong?"

Alfie huffed. In a quiet voice he said, "You didn't hold me."

"I had to make dinner, I cant hold you all the time…" he said softly, holding his arms out for the other.

Alfie stared at him for a couple minutes before jumping into his arm and burying himself in them.

Arthur couldn't help the at that, gently scooping him up and taking him to the table.

Arth7r leaned down to set him in his chair. "You need to let go so we can eat…"

Alfie shook his head and held on tighter. "I don't wanna."

"You have to eat bud" he said.

"I don't wanna let go." Alfie mumbled

"I'll be right next to you…"

"No." He said stubbornly.

Arthur sighed, "You have to eat." He said firmly.
