Asher shut up after that. He didn’t even bother fighting back anymore, not seeing a point in trying to do so. He knew he should but what even was the point? He tilted his head curiously, bottom lip catching between his teeth, as he looked at what he assumed was going to be his temporary or permanent prison. Even though he wanted to ask questions, he thought better of it.
"Try and escape, and I will kill you." Vesuvius threatened as he tossed Asher inside. His head was spinning, he should have killed him. But that little voice in the back of his head told him not to. Gosh how he regretted listening to it now.
Asher stumbled slightly, catching himself before he fell to the floor, "Yeah, I get it ass." He replied, sending Vesuvius a glare over his shoulder. He still didn't understand why he wasn't dead already but hey, even if he had to be locked up at least he was alive.
Vesuvius rolled his eyes, clearly unamused by Asher's comment. If anything he would have returned with something else, but he wasn't in the mood. They'd already faught, so a few words would really have no meaning. At least not now, there'd be plenty of time for arguing later. Especially if Vesuvius decided keeping him alive for a long amount of time was a good idea.
Asher sighed softly, rubbing his face with both hands, "So… what the hell are we supposed to do now?" He asked, looking around before going to face Vesuvius, slightly defeated and at a total loss.
(Sorry I've been gone so long! I'm not letting this die I promise.)
Vesuvious took a moment to think. He didn't exactly know. Well a better way to put it was he had absualtly no idea and was regretting this kidnapping already. "Go clean yourself up." He said. It was the only idea that came to mind. After all, they had just fought, and staying in clothes that where sweaty and gross did not seem plesent. Nor did it seem like something to force someone else to do.
Asher nodded a little, “Where’s your bathroom?” He asked quietly. The only problem with going to clean up was that he had no clothes to change into afterwards. He chewed on his lower lip, looking up at him from under his lashes.
(All good don’t worry!)
"Down the hall to the right," Vesuvius said as he pointed, realising there would be a slight problem. He cursed silently, still trying to untangle this whole mess that he'd started by not killing the dude. It was to late now, after all Vesuvius wasn't that cruel. "I'll find you some clothes." He mumbled, before shooting the other a glare that seemed to say if he tried anything he'd kill him, and stalking off to find something that would fit Asher.
Asher sighed softly, turning around a heading to where Vesuvius pointed. His mind seemed to be running a million miles and hour and yet not at the same time, making this whole situation even more confusing. He found the bathroom easily enough, avoiding looking at how defeated and drained he was in the mirror, before he started the shower, letting his old clothes drop to the floor around him.
(Sorry I've been gone so long! Work has been kicking my butt.)
It took Vesuvius a few minutes to find clothes that would actually fit Ash. And even then they'd still be somewhat baggy, but not to much. He knocked on the door to the bathroom. Why was he knocking? This was his house and Ash was his prisoner. Even if Vesuvius hadn't been treating him at such.
(It's fine, I understand)
Ash grabbed a towel, wrapping it round his waist carefully, avoiding the cuts, scraps and bruises that were probably worse then the was acknowledging. He let the shower stay running as he was just going to grab the clothes anyway, it would only take a second. He opened the door a crack, looking up at Vesuvius.
"Here" Vesuvius grumbled. Knowing full well that if he actually did have a dungeon the Hero wouldn't have had the opportunity for a shower. He'd have been locked up and this would have been over with. Vesuvius held out the clothes, holding them close to the door so Ash wouldn't habe to open it anymore.
“Thank you.” Ash said quietly, taking the clothes gently from Vesuvius. He closed the door softly, releasing a breath he didn’t know he was holding as he placed the clothes on the counter, dropped the towel and stepped into the shower.
Vesuvius didn't bother replying with a 'your welcome.' because he saw himself as being generous, a little to much in his opinion. But for now it didn't really matter.
He made his way back to the living room, and sat on the couch. Listening out for Ash, and any indication that he was trying to escape.
Ash didn't bother trying to escape, he knew there was no point in trying, anyway. He stood in the shower for a long while letting the hot water run over his body. He washed, stepping out the showering once he was done. The clothes were baggier then expected, the shirt hanging off his shoulder when he finally left the bathroom.
Vesuvius' eyes narrowed at Ash, his dark sunglasses sitting on the coffee table. "I was beginning to think you drowned." he didn't bother hidding his annoyance. Though he did make a quick note that getting the other better fitting clothes might be smart. He didn't need someone looking like a trash bag wondering around his house.
Ash couldn't bring himself to care how annoyed the villain was, "Whatever." He mumbled, more to himself then anyone else. He took a seat on one of the couches furthest away from Vesuvius, curling up and trying to take up as little space as possible, which wasn't hard.
"Oh stop acting so miserable. I could have locked you up and thrown away the key." He looked boredly over at the hero. "Besides, I've been rather nice so far." At least as nice as he could bring himself to be. But besides that, he really hadn't been.
“Why are you being… well… as nice as you can be?” The hero asked. It was one of the many questions bugging him and he wanted answered.
"Do I need a reason? Perhaps I've had a change of heart?" Vesuvius narrowed his eyes more, hatred burning in his glare. "Am I such a villain you don't believe I can't be good?"
Ash looked away from Vesuvius and down to the floor, the glare making his stomach churn uncomfortably, “Fine, whatever you say…”
"What? Scared, you're the hero-" Vesuvius stopped short, taking a moment to think. "Or should I say, was. aren't hero's ment to be brave? Your spirit broke so, so easily." He didn't know why he was taunting the other. But there was some kind of satisfaction to it, rubbing salt into the wound.
“I get it, okay?” Ash snapped, looking back to Vesuvius. Anger and defeat and sorrow lied behind them, “I lost, you won. I can’t do my job correctly. I messed up. I didn’t want to be a hero in the first place but I tried even if I could have done better,” He sighed, shaking his head, “I already know, there’s no need to say it.”
Vesuvius' expression hardly changed at Ash snapping. The only difference being a small smile creeping up on his lips. "Well at least you're not stupid." He stood and snatched his sunglasses off the table. "If I take you to get clothes that actually fit you, will you try and run?"
Ash rolled his eyes, “Is there even any point in trying?” He sighed and shook his head, “I wouldn’t.” If there was a risk of him dying then there really wasn’t a point in trying to get away.
Vesuvius shrugged, that smile still playing on his lips. The only reason he could have found for running was to disappear. To get away from a capture, but even that seemed pointless. "then come on."
Ash stood from the chair, fiddling with the sleeves of his shirt out of nervous habit. He honestly couldn't be bothered going out right now but he supposed he had to. He'd rather not wear these clothes for longer then necessary.
Vesuvius almost told the other to chill out, but instead ended up just letting him be nervous. Who was he to reassure someone who he despised?
Vesuvius led Ash out to the car, and urged him to get in the passengers side. He didn't need the other to be out of his sight, and besides that he didn't think they'd do anything when he was driving.
Ash quickly hopped into the seat, buckling up a second later. He rested his head in his hand where it rested against the window ledge with a sigh. This was all a huge mess. He couldn’t see a way out but he supposed be should at least try and think of something.
(Just a heads up, I'm gonna move all my RP's to pm so I don't lose them all the time. So my next response will be other there. ^^)
