"Let me know if you change your mind," Finn says smiling. He looks around to see who else is interested but still stays close to Lloyd.

amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) glanced over at Isak.
"Some of the others wanna play chicken. You wanna go?" She asked.

"Sure." He smiled at her. "Wanna be a team?"

"Uh- s-sure!" amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) blushed slightly.
"I'd love to!"

Ava stays silent. Relaxing in the water. She stares at the clouds above. "That one looks like a butterfly," She says pointing at a cloud.

"Or a ninja star," Nellie commented. "That usually means the sky is angry. It wants to kill us. But then, who doesn't?"

"Sounds about right," Ava says smiling slightly.

"I like you," Nellie said matter-of-factly. "You don't ignore me. We should be friends. You can be my henchman when I undoubtedly become a supervillain."

Ava sits up. She half stands in the water allowing it to come up to her chin. "sounds like a good idea. As long as you promise to keep me around when you take over the world," She says her smile growing.

"Well, that's the point of a henchman, isn't it? To keep them around when you take over the world?" Nellie said thoughtfully, dead serious. "I mean, that is the goal of every super villain ever, but… I'm better than them, so I'll actually achieve my goal."

"Well, technically you'd just be a villain. Unless you have some powers," Ava explained her hands graze the sand.

"Well, of course I have powers. I'm, like, a million times smarter than the rest of the world. Plus, you know I'm going to have some factory incident where I fall into a pit of toxic waste and instead of dying, I get fire powers or something. My name will be Incendia. You can be a Flame. As in, fire, not like a significant other," she said offhandedly. Her hands were going numb from being in the water so long, but maybe if she froze to death, she would get powers. Like Captain America. But the ice would probably have to be toxic or something.

Ava blushes slightly but hides it with a chuckle. "Fire is too weak of a power. Someone just has to splash you with water or put you in an airtight room," She says after thinking for a moment.

"Pfft, that's how it works when you're a villain," Nellie said melodramatically. "I'm probably going to die a gruesome death. Pushed off a bridge onto a floor of spikes, hit in the chest by a spear, drowned or eaten by piranhas, or, as you say, asphyxiating in an airtight room. But such is the way of the world."

Ava nodded "I guess so. It wouldn't be much fun anyway if the villain just wins without struggling." She smiles.

"Well, yes, that's true. It'll be fun before my horrible demise, though. I might get to hold someone hostage. Maybe I'll set fire to Gotham City… wherever that is," Nellie briefly sunk underwater before resurfacing, wiping the water out of her eyes.

"Can't wait!" Ava giggles. she sits down in the water letting it cover her mouth and nose but not her eyes.

Nellie turned around so her face was facing Ava's, looking at her upside-down. "This is weird. People don't usually talk to me. Let alone have a full conversation. Nice, but weird."

Ava shrugs and kneels so her mouth is free. "Well, it's nice talking to you. more people should try it," She admits.

Finn looks around the water. He sees Nellie and Ava. "Hey do you guys want to play chicken?" he shouts.

"What in the everloving hell is 'chicken'?" Nellie asks, not bothering to look up.

Thank god I'm not the only one who doesn't know… Lloyd sat down in the shallow water and watched the group.

"It's a game!" Finn yells walking over.
"You go on someone's shoulder and try to knock another person off of a different person's shoulders," Ava explains.

"Well, I would, but I'm not a complete retard," Nellie says, still floating. "Also, I dislike falling. And games. And the majority of social interactions."

Ava stands up "Imma go play. I haven't played it in a while. Wanna come it can get pretty violent," She tempts smiling.

"Violence is entertaining," Nellie admits. "You know that if I get knocked into the water, I'm staying there until the end of time, right?"

Fynn hears a distant shout of 'chicken' and stops floating, realizing how far off he had drifted.

"Holy hell," He says, moving his arms and legs to stay above water.

The others were at least fifteen feet from him, and he could tell the water wasn't shallow anymore just from the cold his lower legs felt.

"Uh- s-sure!" amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) blushed slightly.
"I'd love to!"

Isak laughed. "Come on, then!" He said, swimming over to were the others were.

amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) followed behind, having mixed emotions about this. She was going to play chicken. With Isak.

"Violence is entertaining," Nellie admits. "You know that if I get knocked into the water, I'm staying there until the end of time, right?"

“But then who will take over the world?” She asks looking back at Nellie.

Nellie thought for a moment, tilting her head. "You," she answered simply as though it was obvious.

Ava nodded “I guess but I wouldn’t do as well as you.”
