Nellie opens the door, not checking to see if Ava is with her. She couldn't wait to stand on the beack for 2 hours, knowing that the people enjoying themselves were thinking, well, shit. It's that weird chick again.

amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) finally arrived at the beach, out of breath.

Lloyd flinched, his now wet hair falling into his eyes. He reached up to fix it and the sleeve of his shirt slipped down, revealing the edge of a scar.

Finn frowns when he sees the scar. He doesn't say anything but takes note. "Sorry," He mumbles.

"No problem… I think other people are arriving now." Lloyd glanced over to the entrance of the beach, tugging his sleeves back down firmly.

Finn tries to smile again. He sits up and follows Lloyds line of vision.

"Do you know any of them?" Lloyd's eyes flicked between each person arriving, searching for a familiar face. "I… don't get out much."

Finn looks at amy (the most wonderful woman in the world). "I think I've seen her around school. She might be a sophomore. I don't know her name," Finn admits.

"I believe that's amy (the most wonderful woman in the world). Some boys were bothering her on the bus."

Finn nods. He waves his hand gesturing amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) over to them. His smile was officially back on his face.

Unbeknownst to everyone else, Nellie has her bathing suit on underneath the clothes that she's been wearing all day. One never knows when they might need to suddenly rip off their clothes and jump into a river. This would be prime for her "I'm weird; don't come near me" aura.

Ava stayed close behind Nellie as they walked out of the hotel.

In what seems like no time at all, Nellie has reached the beach. There are more people than she anticipated. All the better. She decides to kneel in the sand and just run it through her fingers, looking for interesting rocks or shells. That's right. She collects rocks and shells. She almost laughs at herself, but keeps her face completely serious, as though she's searching for a dead body, rather than an interesting shell.

Ava sat a few feet away from Nellie. She started drawing something in the sand with her finger.

Finn's smile widened and kneels since the water was getting in his mouth. "Hi im Finn!"

Lloyd waved to amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) silently, staying where he was.

"Uh, hi. I'm amy (the most wonderful woman in the world)." She set her towel down, pulling her cover dress off.

"Nice to meet you amy (the most wonderful woman in the world)! This is Lloyd by the way," He says before wading slightly deeper into the water.

Lloyd watched Finn go further into the water. He was tempted to follow him, but his swimming skills were lacking and he'd heard that drowning was a pretty bad way to go.

Finn stopped when the water came up to his chin. "you coming in?" He asks looking at Lloyd.

Lloyd hesitated before following Finn. The water came to his chin a little closer to the shore than it did for Finn, and he didn't feel comfortable going any further. Honestly, just this far was enough to make his insides squirm with anxiety.

Nellie pondered what to do as she sat on the beach. Maybe I should run straight into the water, with all my clothes on, and just sit at the bottom underwater for a few minutes? Then I could come up and backfloat. She almost smiled at the idea. For her, it didn't seem half bad.

Ava's eyes wander around the beach. They stop when she sees amy (the most wonderful woman in the world). She completely freezes but then shakes her head and looks back at the sand. (Forgot Ava has a crush on amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) but honestly, she'll probably develop one on Nellie since she likes any girl that's slightly nice to her.)

Lloyd hesitated before following Finn. The water came to his chin a little closer to the shore than it did for Finn, and he didn't feel comfortable going any further. Honestly, just this far was enough to make his insides squirm with anxiety.

Finn moves closer to Lloyd and offers his hand. "Do you know how to swim?" He asks his head tilting slightly.
