There was another prisoner on the floor next to Adrielle, similarly bound. But unconscious. There was murmuring from overhead as the two adults in charge argued. One voice was loud and harsh. The other was less so. After a while the second voice stopped except to reply to the first. “Alright,” Jake said, “there are going to be some changes around here.”
