"Hmm?" Ashkit walked over to Thunderkit, examining his wounds. "A little bit of comfrey, dock, and goldenrod should work." He grabbed the herbs.
"Hmm?" Ashkit walked over to Thunderkit, examining his wounds. "A little bit of comfrey, dock, and goldenrod should work." He grabbed the herbs.
"You sound like you've known these herbs since you were born!" Thunderkit chirped as his brother brought the herbs to him.
Ashkit smiled softly. "Close enough, I suppose. Some of my earliest memories are from right here, in the medicine den. I listen to Finchpaw and Silverbrook to know what I'm doing, or at least what the herbs are."
"Hummmm, very interesting… I like to hang out with the apprentices, they love teaching me the new moves they learn from training! it’s so fun!"
"Really? I don't really know how to fight, I'm just very quiet. Perhaps I could be a spy?"
"Maybe… I’m sure your black pelt will blend perfectly into the brambles and tree branches!" Sighing, he hid the pain he was feeling as Ashkit placed the herbs into his wound.
"Perhaps. Hunting herbs might be more my thing, though. I can't even take a hit without needing to go to the medicine den."
You'll grow." Thunderkit said cheerfully, "Plus, you're the smallest of us all so you won’t be that big or strong, so just wait until you grow up, then you will be able to take a blow."
Ashkit sighed. "But what if I don't? A lot of the time, the runt of the litter doesn't even survive through birth. I'm weak, I'll always be weak. I can't take a hit, and I could die during the winter when it's cold. You'll be a great warrior, and Leopardkit a hunter, but I'm just no good at either of those."
"Now you’re just doubting yourself!" Thunderkit blurted, "With an attitude like that, you will never make it through winter! You must be brave and tell yourself You Will Make IT! No matter what! You push through, not pull back! What do you think life is? A place with soft earth and a mouse under every fallen limb? Every day is a fight and it is your choice to make it through or fail and die… And it is your choice to give up and loss hope just because you were born small. Mice are born small, but yet they fight to live, they escape the claws of us, they don’t give up and so should you."
Ashkit flinched and looked away, cowering a bit under his brother's gaze. "I-I'm sorry… you're right… I just need to try harder…" He glanced at the mediocre poultice he had made for Thunderkit. Comfrey, dock, goldenrod… good for healing and soothing scratches.
(May I join?)
A small laugh escaped him, "Wow, I never thought I would be able to say so much, I better shut up before I turning into a she-cat!"
(I think you can, idk who owns the rp)
"Yeah…" Ashkit smiled weakly and sat down, still not meeting Thunderkit's eyes. He felt like he'd just been reprimanded by someone of authority.

(Welcome aboard!)
"How bad are your scratched?" Thunderkit asked, liking the fur around his own wounds.
"Not too bad… I would have been fine if there weren't rocks."
"You fell on rocks?" Thunderkit questioned, scooting closer to his brother so he could get a better look at his scratches, "Did you fall hard?"
"I'm okay! Don't worry! The ground's just rough, and the rocks scraped against my side when I slid. If it was just grass, I'd probably only be bruised. Don't feel bad, i-it's really not your fault!"
"Why would I feel bad?" Thunderkit asked, slightly confused, "Leopardkit should be the one feeling sorry, she made you wait while she blabbered on how I nearly 'killed" you."
"Well, yeah. I know it was an accident, everyone but Leopardkit does, but… I dunno… you're right, you have no reason to. I'm okay, and you got attacked."
"Yeahhhh, we need to do something about her…" He said, lowing his head on to his white paws, "You want to get some speel? We can tell Finchpaw everything in the morning if you want."
"Um, okay." Ashkit stood up, hardly taller than he was when he was sitting. He felt very small next to Thunderkit, but he didn't mention it.
(Time skip tp next morning?)
(Sure)
(Ok, good)
Tha air was flooded by a gray mist that extended from the den the two brother kits were sleeping in, to the outskirts of the camp. Isn't wasn't like they knew how far it spread, but form what they knew, it looked like it covered the whole world. Silverbrook was with them in the den, still fast asleep, but Finchpaw was right beside the little black kit, she had kept him warm all through the night.
