Lindsey nodded again, a nostalgic look in her eyes "yep. That's the one part he never changed."

“Wow…what about the kiss to wake her up? Was it the prince that kissed her? Or the huntsman she fell in love with?” It was clear she was enjoying both hearing he stories and seeing Lindsey remember good memories.

"well he changed that bit. It was the huntsman who woke her up. But the general idea is still there." She explained. "Then in the end he always used to have this over the top spin. In snow white he had the huntsman betray her, having loved the queen the whole time and having him killed by snowwhite."

Her eyes widened and she shook her head, “That is an intense twist, not one I would’ve seen coming at all.” Thinking about it for a moment she shook her head again, “Wow…geez Snow White, you got a lot more metal twist to your story than I expected.”

Both Lindsey and Jasper laughed. Lindsey nodded "yeah, we never grew up with the normal Disney stories or even the darker grimm fairy tales. We grew up with the twisted ones."

“And here I am with my Disney princesses, singing all the songs,” She joked, cracking a tiny smile and shaking her head, “You guys can keep your murderous princesses.”

They both laughed and nodded "ah I remember we used to try to make songs for the stories, they always came out super dark and melancholy, I think it was when you started learning guitar, right Jassie?"
Jasper nodded "yeah, I think. That was a really weird faze for all of us,"

She shook her head and the smile appeared for another second, “I can honestly say, I’ve never heard anything quite like this, especially the writing songs part.”

"chancelor had a great imagination." Lindsey said fondly
Jasper nodded in agreement "we should find those songs that we wrote."

“If you find them while you’re out in Maine for the…you know, tell me and I’ll listen to them when you get back,” She said, glancing between Jasper and Lindsey.

Jasper nodded "we definitely will." He smiled sadly "I'm sorry we cant bring you along Scar, but you have classes." He said softly

Scarlett shook her head, “It’s fine, it’s one of the responsibilities college gives you, as much as I want to go along. Time management, and it helps you learn how to make difficult choices. .” She glanced down at the table before looking back up and shrugging, “I wouldn’t want to be an annoying tag along up in Maine either.”

"you wouldn't be annoying," Lindsey piped up "hell, it'd be a relief to have you there. You didn't know Lor like we did. In a way, it's a good thing, we could tell you all the great things about him," she said with a smile

A smile crossed her face and she looked down at the table, shrugging, “I’d still be an outsider, not being family and all, it would be really weird I think.”

Jasper smiled softly "Lor loved strangers, always wanted to make the world his friend. He'd love to have you there." He reassured

“Now I want to go with you guys even more,” Scarlett complained with a tiny smile, tapping her fingers on the table, “Stop making me want to miss all my tests and classes. I can’t miss any more.”

The two laughed softly and japer took her hand "well tell you all about the dramatics when we get back." He promised

She fake scowled at him but nodded, not able to keep the angry face for long, “Fine, that might work. Lindsey, keep an eye on this one while you’re out there, will ya?”

Jasper laughed softly and kissed her hand.
Lindsey laughed as well "don't worry, I will. He's in good hands."

“So, when do you guys leave?” She asked, “I know you’ll be gone a while, a week, right?” Looking over at Jasper she silently asked if she was right.

Jasper nodded "we're leaving tomorrow night." He said softly, keeping her hand in his

Scarlett nodded, relaxing back in the seat, “And specific instructions about both your brothers studio and your own?” Watching to make sure nothing was taken wasn’t anything new, when she was in high school it used to be her job. Watch someone’s house while they were gone and get paid for it.

Jasper thought for a second before shaking his head "just make sure everything is locked." He said, sliding her the keys to both studios

She nodded, taking the keys and slipping them into her pocket before squeezing his hand gently, "Alright then, guess all you have to do then is pack your bag?"

Jasper nodded and glanced over at Lindsey
"Yes Jassie I packed, and yes I've packed everything I needed, and no I'm not bringing every shirt I own this time." She groaned with a smile

Scarlett laughed and shook her head, squeezing Jasper's hand lightly, "I'm guessing there's a good story behind why you have to say that?"

Lindsey rolled her eyes playfully at her cousin and nodded "yeah, one time, only once, o decided to bring every shirt I owned. I didn't have that many.."
Jasper stopped her "50 is a lot Lindsey,"
"Shut it, like I said, it wasn't a lot so I brought them all with me to Cancoon, for a vacation. I forgot to bring most of the essentials though so Jassie decided that it was a great idea to pester me the whole time."

"Wow," She said with a laugh, shaking her head, "I really don't know who to side with, that's a good story."

"obviously me," Lindsey said with a small laugh
Jasper rolled his eyes and poked his cousins side "give one good reason why,"
"Cuz girls stick together, duh."

"That's a pretty solid reason," She said with another laugh, "Us girls gotta stick together."
