"A-Arthur….. You?" he asked, figuring he was taking this quite well.

"Alfie." He saod, glancing up at him. He yawned loudly.

Arthur noticed this, "Uhm… d-do you have a place to stay?" he asked.

Alfie shook his head. "C-can I c-come with you?" He asked brightly.

Arthur hummed, "Uh…. I-I guess so?" he said, noting that he was in completely new territory now.

Alfie's eyes lit up. "Lets go now." He said excitedly.

Arthur hummed nervously. "O-Okay…." he mumured, waiting for the other to move so he could get up.

Alfie sat up beside himself with joy. He was bouncing in his spot.

Arthur watched him with amusement, still entirely uncertain concerning this whole situation as he got up. Beckoning to the other he started to head for home, thinking.

Alfie quickly stood, his coat in his arms. He follwoed behind him, a small skip in his step

Arthur watched him, but smiled to himself at the other's behavior. You'd think he's just won the lottery

Alfie gad a big smile on his face. He reached out and clutched on to Arthur's arm

Arthur looked over at him, studying him. "Can.. Can I ask you a question?" he said quietly.

Alfie tilted husbhead up at him and nodded. "Yes." He said enthusiastically

'How come you're so affectionate?" he asked, "I mean… you don't know anything about me"

"Because you are my life partner now. I would do anything for you."

"So… instantaneous affection?" he asked, trying to figure out why this guy wasn't trying to get out of it or possibly resented him for getting them into this.

Alfie looked at him strangely. He didn't understand what that big word meant. "What?"

"Uhm… don't worry about it too much… just me trying to process this.." he said softly. Whelp… he is kinda cute…

Alfie tilted his head kind of like a puppy. "O-okay then." He laid his head on Arthur's shoulder

Arthur couldn't help but smile. Okay… how is he so adorable? he thought, leading him into an apartment building and to the elevator.

As soon as they go in to the elevator, alfie started pushing all the buttons with a giggle

Arthur laughed, gently stopping him. "We only need to press one button silly" he said, unable to stop smiling as he punched in the right floor.

"But I like pressing buttons." Alfie turned and stared at him as he pushed another button.

Arthur smiled at him, "Yeah, but it's not always good to press the buttons" he said, thinking of the big red "DANGER" buttons in cartoons.

Alfoe pressed another button, staring him jn that "whatcha gonna do about it?" face

Arthur sighed, rolling his eyes and pulling him into a tight hug after pressing the correct button, letting the elevator move.

Alfie squealed and turned in his arms. He hugged him tight

Arthur hummed, unsure why he liked this, but hey, he'd roll with it.

Alfie smiled up at him. He yanwed again
