"I'm using these" he gestured to his sheathed blades, "That's why we stopped to get them."

He took a good look at it, "You need new ones these are pretty dull," he glided his finger along the blade, "Yep, dull. After your fight, I could make you a new or see what we have in the house?"

Skye huffed, "I haven't been able to care for them properly lately, that's all. I'd never get rid of these." he resheathed them upset that the other would even suggest it.

"Then we can sharpen them. They are durable though," he gave the knife back to Skye, "How old is the guy you're trying to save?"

(they're not knives, they're a pair of actual swords, and he's been caring for them since he was nine.)
"Not sure, but he's younger than me." said Skye, turning into a shadier part of town.

He looked at his surrounding look at every building and crack on the sidewalks and windows, "What exactly happened here?" then again he knew what happened he once one of the people living here.

"Crime" said Skye, "And the old Nighthawk smuggling rings" he sighed turning into another alley and stopping at a door.

"Is this the place?" he looked at the door with a blank look My old place…

"Yep" he said smugly, pushing the door open and stepping inside.

"Be careful alright?" he ran his fingers through Ske's hair and took a lighter and a pack of cigarettes from his pokets

Skye glanced over at him as the other's hand was in his hair, which was soft and thick. "Right.." he murmured, forcing himself not to glare at the cigarettes.

He lit his cigarette and started to exhale the smoke that he inhaled. He only smoked when he was worried and he was never this worried before.

Skye ignored him as he walked confidently into the room. The center of it was cleared out, and there was a kid who seemed to be about 13 sitting on the floor between two thugs. There were a few more throughout the room, and another who was about Skye's age, who seemed relieved to see Skye.

"Skye. Glad to see you stop by. What can I do for you?" he joked while twirling the knife he had in his hand.

Skye glared at him. "Quit playing. You know why we're here, and you know the deal. Now do I have your word you and yours will live up to the agreement?" he asked.

He looks at the little boy then frowned, "Awwww you're here for this worthless piece of shit. You know I thought you were here because you wanted to see me, you know. Have a little chat, sip some tea, and play games. I guess not! Yeah yeah, you have my word…so how has your day been going got any crushes???" he sirked raising an eyebrow.

Skye crossed his arms, stepping to the middle of the floor. "How about we just get this over with?" he said, ignoring the question. "Will you duel or not?"

"Oh I will duel!" he chuckled while doing a mini dance to the middle of the floor and faced Ske, "You wanna start first or should I? Like what do you wanna do?"

Skye drew his blades and took a fighting stance. "Just fight me already." he said, not in the mood for nonsense.

(I'm really tired so I'm going to go to bed)
He sighed, "Alright, alright, no need to be so hasty!" he stood up straight, "Alright let's fight!"

Skye hummed in affirmation as one of the thugs called out the starting signal. As soon as the man said go he was after him like a shot his movements fast and smooth as he moved to take him out.

The other just stood while waiting for an attack while whistling. He knew that he could dodge every one of the nits that were pointed towards him. He yawned, "Try a little harder please…"

Skye growled, attacking quickly, his movements fast as he slashed for his face and chest.

“Too slow, gotta move faster then that!” He made two cuts on the sides of Skye’s arm, “See now try to do better.”

Skye growled, his eyes flashing as he suddenly vanished and reappeared behind him, swiping a leg under him to trip him, lunging to pin him down with his swords at the other's throat.

He poked the knife, “Very dull. Not very intimidating. If you really insist on killing me then do it,” he smirked.

Skye smirked, "really now?" He said, letting a glow wash over the blades, revealing their sharp edges and violet coloring, clearly well taken care of. "You do remember that I'm a master of illusions right?"

“Oh? How come I wasn’t informed of this?” He shrugged, “Well I don’t think that it matters kill me already before I change my mind.”

Skye shook his head, "I don't kill. But I did win the duel, so let the kid go so we can all be on our way." He looked up at the gang leader.
