(Sounds good to me!)
(Sounds good to me!)
(RIGHT I AM DONE WITH WAITING)
(ME TOO LET'S GO!!)
(Aye aye Cap'n!)
(Right, as captain, I shall begin!)
The day started like any other. Blue skies, calm waters, and the sound of the ocean around them. And there was Cassie, smack in the center of it. She wore a bright smile, ready to start her day.
Philip was sitting on the starboard side of the vessel, simply looking out across the sea.
Skye hummed, perched on the very top of the mast looking out over the ocean, comtemplating life choices.
She brushed her hair out of her face and bounded into her room to pull it back. To say she loved what she did was an understatement.
Skye looked down below him, waving to the captain below.
She looked into the mirror, trying to tame her wind-blown hair. Today was an exploring day and the crew knew it. She was teeming with energy just at the thought.
Skye smiled as he looked out over the ocean blue, before slidding down the mast and landing with soft thump.
Philip drummed his fingers on the railing, leaning on his hand.
When she finally came back out of her room, she was still smiling brightly but was a bit more cleaned up. "Alright mates, we've got a lot to do and not nearly enough time to do it so let's get to work!"
"Where do you think we'll end up today?" called Skye.
"Not sure! But where ever it is, we'll make it ours!"
( Whisper: Cries. I'm so sorry! I couldn't get on a computer!)
Isabella was sleeping in under the deck in her little corner, away from the other crew members' sleeping quarters. She was stirring from the noise above, sitting up and yawning while running her fingers through her short hair. She still wasn't used to it. She grumbled softly to herself as she readjusted the rags wrapped tightly around her chest.
Skye smiled at the captain's response. "Shall we head out then?" he asked.
Isabella pulled on her shirt and snuck up onto the decks. She sighed when she saw it was sunny out. She much preferred it when it was cloudy. Then her face wasn't lit up and people don't notice her feminine features as much under the dirt on her face. She loped over the the crates of hardtack for some breakfast, hunched over and avoiding eye contact with anyone.
"Let's go!" She smiled, leaping to the dock to unhook the ship. "Need some help over here!"
Isabella, aka Black Tiger, ran over to the side of the ship and swung off, hardtack in mouth, as she hurried over to the captain to help unhook the ship.
She whistled as she worked, going through the motions that she'd done a thousand times before.
Skye quickly pitched in, working on the riggings.
She finished her part and hopped up to the wheel, prepared to go.
Skye smiled, scrambling up the mast to play lookout. "All looks ready to go Cap'n!" he called.
Tiger finished his job and swung back onto the deck, saluting to his captain before sneaking off to head back below deck. Suddenly a paper blew into his face. H peeled it off and read it. His eyes went wide and he shoved it into his pocket and zoomed back below deck in a hurry.
"Then let's go!" She gripped the wheel, turning it out of port and into the open sea.
Skye grinned, hanging off the mast with a whoop.
Black Tiger sat on some crates, holding the paper in his shaking hands as he read it over again. The ransom…. was for his capture or death. And it was a large sum. This wasn't good….
Skye noticed Tiger on some crates holding a paper. "Hey!! TIger!! What's up??" he called,
Tiger jolted and quickly shoved the paper in his pocket. "H-Hey Skye…" His stuttering was normal, so that shouldn't draw any suspicion… "N-nothing much, y-you?"
