(HI!!!!! MISSED TALKING TO YOU!!!!!)
Alex chuckled, touching his nose to her forehead lightly. He started walking, down the walk and to the road.
"You can't see much if you're hiding like that," He said gently.

(squeals happily ME TOO!)

Aukai made a soft sound and lifted some hair out of her face, looking around in embarrassment. "Th-there, I can see…"

(happy squealing)

Alex smiled. The town itself was nice; it looked like something you would see on a postcard. Quaint shops bordered the main street they were walking on, with a sense of nostalgia filling the atmosphere. The entire town seemed to long of a bygone time, when children could go out until dark and no one be afraid, when people actually talked to their neighbors and had spur of the moment get-togethers.
Alex set Aukai down gently, keeping one arm around her as they walked.

(Oh, yeah, I have a BF now and I'm graduating high school this year, early.)

Aukai's eyes lit up as she heard people call to each other on the street, saw children playing on the side-walks, and they passed a café with people laughing, gathered around a table. "It…. reminds me of home…" Her eyes changed to a soft, pastel blue.

(Oh! I too have gained a boyfriend, but have not achieved early graduation yet ;-;)
Alex turned his head to look at her, brushing some more hair out of her eyes.
"I'm glad," he said quietly.

(Ah! Yay! And what grade are you in right now?)

Aukai leaned her head onto Alex's shoulder, watching her surroundings. "I wish… I wish I could have a home… The ocean is nice, but… it's so lonely…"

(Sophmore. Even with the track I'm on, my school doesn't allow early graduation until Junior year.)

Alex put his head on top of her for the briefest of moments, then pulled away.
"Perhaps… perhaps this could be your home. The place you come back to when you need someplace you belong."

(I went into a GED course for my "Junior" year)

Aukai sighed softly. "That would be so nice…" She looks up at Alex. "I…. I love you…"

He looked at her, blushing slightly.
"I-I love you too." He led her down the street. There, at the end of the sidewalk, was Alley.

(I gtg… I'll update again later, maybe.)

Aukai looked up and gave a tiny wave, taking her head off of Alex. "H-hi…"

Alley blanched slightly when she caught sight of them, but because of who Aukai was or because Aukai and Alex were so close was hard to tell.
"H-Hey." Alex kept his arm around Aukai, not picking up on the building tension.
"Hey Alley. You doing good?"

Aukai tensed under Alex's arm. Clearly men couldn't sense tension very well. She glanced at him, before looking back at Alley, nervous.

"I'm fine…" She kept her gaze away from Alex's arm around Aukai.
"You sure?" She nodded curtly.

Aukai's eyes drifted to the ground, feeling a little sad. Her eyes turned a watery, darker blue. Why couldn't she just be on good terms with this girl…? She didn't intend to hurt her…

Alley looked at them one more time. She felt a bit guilty when she saw the look on Aukai's face.
"Where are you two going?" She asked.

"W-we were heading to the beach… I was going to introduce Alex to LuLu, my friend…" She glanced up at Alley hopefully. "Would you like to come…?"

Alley looked at her for a moment.
"If you'll have me." Alex smiled.
"That sounds nice, Alley." He smiled, holding Aukai close.

Aukai held out a hand to Alley. "C'mon then." She smiled brightly. "You can help Alex show me around while we head over."

Alley hesitantly took Aukai's hand. Alex smiled brightly.
"I'm glad to see you two getting along!"

Aukai squeezed Alley's hand lightly before beginning to walk again, holding Alley's hand and leaned against Alex.

Alex smiled as he and Alley led Aukai through the town; having Aukai lean against him like that felt really good. Like he could protect her from anything. Which seemed silly, since she was the goddess. Occasionally, he would point something out; the flowers on Main Street, his favorite shops, the cafe.

Aukai smiled and snuggled closer in a way that caused Alex's arm to go around her. She like d that… She felt protected… Her gaze seemed to go unfocused as her thoughts drifted. Soon, they arrived at the beach.

Alex smiled, holding Aukai close.
"So," Alley said, "Where is this Lulu person?"

Aukai giggled. "She's a turtle. We have to go into the water!" Aukai grinned and snapped her fingers, quickly changing the two others into swimsuits. She giggled, letting go and running for the water, jumping higher in the air than humanly possible, doing a little flip, changing her legs to her blue and purple tail and diving into the water.

Alley yelped when her clothes were replaced by the swimsuit.
"Come on, Alley!" Alex said with a smile, pulling her into the water with him.

Aukai was waiting, swimming in lazy circles under the water, eyes closed as she relaxed. It felt so good to be back in her environment again…

Alex lead Alley out to her, reaching a hand out to get Aukai's attention. It ran down her arm lightly, a delicate and gentle touch.

Aukai's eyes slid open again, her eyes drifting over to Alex. She smiled and quickly brushed her lips against him so he could breath. Then she swam over to Alley. "May I do it to you as well? You'll be able to breath under water."

Alley stared at her for a moment, then nodded slowly.
