(Yeah skip to morning or something)
Zach blinked his hazel eyes open the next morning, glancing down to Felix and sighing happily.
Felix hadn't entirely woken up yet. Not even halfly, actually. He didn't want to wake up. Sleeping was much better. Something moved next to him, and Felix turned around. Soft, warm fur. Oh. Felix suddenly remembered who he was here with and smiled, eyes still closed. He snuggled closer to Zach. "Good morning, sunshine."
Zach whined happily, murring and nuzzling Felix’s cheek.
Felix got up, still laying down, but leaning on one elbow. "Hey, doggie." He smiled. "Turn, would ya? I wanna kiss you."
Zach turned back to human form, giggling as he did so. "Good morning, love."
"Hey." Felix kissed him slowly, not completely awake yet.
Mind still fuzzy from sleep, Zach simply smiled into the kiss, slinging an arm around Felix's shoulder.
Felix opened his eyes a bit more and almost choked. Zach's hair… ofbfjdmdkgknhnjkkgg It was even more fluffy and messy than normal. His bedhead almost seemed like it was glowing in the early morning sun.
"You okay?" He mumbled, running a hand across Felix's cheek.
"Mhm. Yes. Totally. Why wouldn't I be?" Felix's voice cracked a bit as he blushed like crazy. So pretty…
Zach just raised an eyebrow and smiled, kissing him again. I love you.
"I love you too." A quick kiss. "But… we should really make a plan. We can't just keep on driving forever. We have nowhere to live, Zach. You might not need it, but I… I am not like you. But I still wanna be with you."
He sighed. "I know. We'll think of something."
(May I add some drama? Maybe a fight? I feel like it's gonna get boring after a while if it's just fluff all the time… just to create some tension, ya know.)
((A fight between whoooooOooOooooO I'm bad at making OTPs fight))
(Felix can do the fighting lol Zach just has to go along)
((hnnnnnnnhnnnnnn okay))
"But that's the thing, Zach! We can't just 'think of something'! I am a human, whether you like it or not, and I need human stuff! I'm always gonna need that." Felix sighed, looking away from Zach. "And… I want to be with you so badly, but it's gonna be hard. We both know it's gonna be hard."
"I…" Zach sucked in a breath, then let it out. "I know it'll be hard. And I know you're human. I want to be with you just as much."
The voices were back again. Echoing his mind, they were hard to ignore. Felix shut his eyes hard, pressed a hand against the point between his eyes trying to shut them out. "Do you, really? Is it really me you love, or do you just not want to be lonely?" The words slipped out, and he regretted them the second they were spoken.
Zach's eyes widened, and he pressed a warm hand to Felix's cold cheek. "I wouldn't be with anyone else. That's the truth."
"Yeah. You say that." He looked down. "But we all know that I'm a liar, so why couldn't you be one as well? And we still have nowhere to live. The money won't last forever. And with your parents after us it will be harder to even walk out on the streets."
"I'm not lying about it, love," Zach urged, dropping the hand to his shoulder. "We can make money, then. Get a job."
Felix shook his head. "I will try, but it's not that easy. I spent months trying to find a job before I left. They don't want someone like me. They want someone who is completely stabile, someone who doesn't have panic attacks and mood swings all the time. They want someone who is good with people, who can be social. And I'm none of that."
"I can get a job, then," Zach argued, still determined. "I should do something." He glanced to the gray ribbon. "I'll do something for the both of us."
"That'll take months," Felix wispered, feeling the panic and anxiety arriving. "Even if you get a job, even if we both get a job, it'll still take months before we have enough money to rent somewhere to live. And food. We need food. Oh, God, Zach, how are we gonna make this? We have nothing!" He wasn't even angry anymore. Just desperate. The voices got louder, surrounding his every thought. You can't do this! He doesn't love you! Just go back to where you came from, you will never survive like this!
"Felix." Zach said, reaching out a hand to his cheek. "You'e right, it'll take time, but that doesn't mean it's impossible. We can just live like we are, me with a job, until we get enough money to rent an apartment or something."
"Do you think we can actually make it?" Felix asked in a small voice, trying to push away the tears and the anxiety. "I want to believe you so bad, but… I don't know."
