They walked home Caleb holding Rykah tight. He unlocked the door and locked it back when Rykah walked in. "Time to get flour everywhere!" he chuckled walking into the kitchen and pulling out some cupcake stuff.

Rykah laughed, "Sounds like a good idea!" he said.

He reached for the bowls with his shirt rising a little bit as soon as he got it down he closed everything and put it on the table, "Alright first, we put in 1/2 cup of the flour." some flour got in his face while pouring out the measuring up and putting git in the bowl. "The next step you can do which is to pour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder in the bowl."

Rykah ignored the other's shirt, and grabbed the baking powder and the correct teaspoon, measuring it out and dumping it it.

He poured 1/8 teaspoon of salt into the bowel, "That is the next thing which is to put 1/8 teaspoon of salt in and next….do you know how to crack an egg?" he raised an eyebrow.

Rykah smiled, grabbing the eggs, "How many?" he asked.

"Just 1 and make sure it's large and mix the egg first in the measuring cup then pour it in it first," he smiled.

Rykah nodded, grabbing the biggest egg, cracking it, and whisking it then pouring it in.

He measures 1/4 cup of sugar and poured it in, "That was 1/4 cup of sugar and now the next step is to put in 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract." he pointed to the bag with the label on it.

Rykah nodded, adding the correct amount. "What next?"

"4 tablespoons of unsalted butter melted and then I leave it slightly cooled" he did his directions and poured the better in. "Now, add, 1/4 of cup milk."

Rykah did as asked, getting the right amount of milk from the fridge, then closing it with his wing before coming back over, and pouring it in.

"Now you mix all of that together while I get preheat the oven to 400 and spray the cupcake cups with cooking oil." He preheated the oven and started to spray the cupcake cups in the tray.

Rykah nodded, and started mixing.

"When it starts to get to feel smooth when you mix it then stop mixing kay?" he kissed his cheek and winked. He loved to watch Rykah working so hard.

Rykah nodded, and kept going, his tail relatively still as he concentrated.

He smiled softly as the oven beep signaling that heating was done, "Did you finish mixing yet?" he looked back

"Almost" said Rykah, beating out the last of the lumps.

Do you guys think I could join in on this? I don't really understand what it's about, so do you think you could explain it?

He took two spoons out of the drawer and gave one to Rykah, "Fill up these cups to about half way and make sure you don't spill a lot on the side it's okay if you spill like a couple of drops though." he smiled and started to fill one up, "You do six I do six k?"

Rykah nodded, "Okay" he said, starting on the task, being careful not to spill too much.

Once they both finished Caleb put the tray in the oven and set the timer. "Then just watch the oven and wait for until it looks good. I don't put times I like being the timer you know? Now, we clean up." he licked the spoon that the batter was on, "Try it." he chuckled.

Rykah licked it happily, "Yum!" hesaid, laughing.

He giggles at his reaction and started to put everything into the sick and wipes the counter, "You are way too cute you know that" he pecks him on the lips then goes back to cleaning.
