"so….you seem anxious. I'm guessing you're disturbed?" He asked, aware of Lizzy's uncomfortable
"so….you seem anxious. I'm guessing you're disturbed?" He asked, aware of Lizzy's uncomfortable
"yes i am for both of those."she was trying to keep her cool but her voice gave it away and the shiver that ran down her spine.
"And why would that be?" He asked her knowing full well the reason she would be scared of him.
"you know why." seh says knowing that he knew but probably wanted her to say it out loud not going to happen.
"Your scared of Death aren't you?" He said with a laugh. It was a retorical question.
"yes" she admitted but then again why wasn't she running if she was?
"Mhmm. Well why haven't you ran yet?" He asked her quietly.
"i don't know" she stared at him trying to figure out why she has not ran.
"Most people fear death and dying. The question is, do you?" He asked her.
"yes and no." she actually did but didn't it was complicated
"Interesting." He said and nodded then walked around the tree. Everything seemed to die as he walked over it.
she watched as he walked around the tree. she stood and backed up the slightest bit. she looked around looking for an exit and trying to make up an excuse.
"You could leave." He whispered. "Just go and run."
she didn't move she just stared at him. this was new,if she was aloud to go she would leave but something was stopping her. "nah i want to see were this will lead." she says with a half smile.
"Aw do you now?" He said with a sinister laugh. Then he walked over and sat on a log.
"do i know what?" she asked standing her ground trying not to flinch.
"Do you want to see where this will lead. There are multiple different ways this could end." Death said with a smile. Though that was all that could be seen as he wore all black with a hooded jacket that managed to cover and cast a shadow under most of his face.
"yes please tell me what those ways are." she says looking away trying not to give away the gulp that was lodged in her throat.
"You leave first. I leave first. Someone dies. Or some answer that is unforseen." He replied and nodded to himself. "Shall we see how this ends."
"sure although you have a advantage." she gave her answer and wasn't quit sure what to expect.
"True. But that doesn't mean death can't die." He replied with a smirk on his face.
"hm i feel like this is a challenge. are you going to give me one reason that i don't need to run or be afraid that you will kill me? she says with a smirk knowing full well what might happen.
"I have no good enough reasons to give you. Maybe one thing I should tell you is I can't kill people that aren't already dying."
okay well that is helpful. she looked at him then looked away."fine i guess i will have to believe you."
(sorry i am in class right now.)
"True. You won't know if I lied." He said then stood. "Hm lots of death around here."
this was not going to be good. "yeah i think i will take you up on letting me leave." i say turning to go.
(she* sorry i am used to writing differently.)
(it's alright. I write in first person primarily)
"Alright. Goodbye, Lizzy." He said in a single song tone.
"goodbye" she says while walking away she looked back once and that was it . she ran all the way home. when she go inside her dog jumps on her she laughs rubbing behind its ears. she went into her room and lade on the bed thinking about what happened in the park.
Death disappeared in a cloud of black smoke to go reape another death nearby.
