So the other night I was in the grocery store with my mom and the cashier had pink hair and blue nails and I couldn’t tell their gender. And so my mom was already at the register and I walked over and they were like “I love your hair” (cause mines blue rn) and I was like “oh thank you I love yours too”. And my mom looked a little weirded out and disapproving, but it wasn’t that bad. And idk. Moments of small random solidarity with someone you don’t know are awesome.

That seemed like a nice and friendly exchange.
