Leo did the same before he followed, shimmying under the covers.

Elijah scooted over to him, putting his head on Leo's chest.

Leo wrapped his arms around Elijah, playing with his hair.

Elijah closed his eyes. He curled into him. He fell asleep rather quickly

Leo was up for a while longer, thinking. But he eventually fell asleep.

Elijah woke about an hour later. He didn't move away from Leo, comfortable. He felt safe with him

Leo was fast asleep when Elijah woke, sleeping peacefully and deeply.

Elijah smiled at him. He stayed where he was, pressed to his side. He caressed Leo's chest

A couple minutes, Leo shifted slightly, brows furrowing and a soft whine was pulled from his throat.

Elijah drowned. He sat up, placing a hand on his cheek. "Leo?"

Leo didn't wake yet. He whined again, flinching away from Elijah's hand a little.

Elijah grabbed his shoulders, shaking him a little. "Leo, wake up!"

Leo woke, gasping for breath and sitting up quickly, eyes wide.

Elijah cupped his cheeks. "You're okay. I'm here."

Leo's eyes landed on him and he whimpered softly. Clearly the nightmare had rattled him.

Elijah hugged him tightly. He kissed his cheek softly. "I've got you. No one can hurt you. I'm here. I'll protect you."

Leo hid his face in his chest, taking a few deep breaths. He felt so stupid, getting this upset over a nightmare.

Elijah rubbed his back soothingly. He geny rocked them. "You're safe. I'm here. No one will ever touch you." He whispered again

Leo calmed down after a few more shaky breaths, though he didn't pull away from him, "S-Sorry…"

"Its okay." Elijah kissed his head. "Are you feeling better now?"

"A-A little…" Leo mumbled, snuggling into him a little more.

Elijah laid back down, still hokding Leo to his chest. "Good. Is there anything i can do?"

"J-Just… hold me…. p-please…" Leo whispered.

"Always." Elijah looked down at him. He started humming a tune his mom used to sing to him when he was a child.

Leo closed his eyes again, taking some more deep breaths. The humming helped him relax.

Elijah smiled, continuing to hum. He relaxed on the bed

Leo relaxed more himself, hiding himself more under Elijah's arms partly for comfort and partly for warmth.

Elijah strokes his hair with one hand, the other on his back. He tangled their legs together.

Leo let out a soft and quiet content sigh, pretty much a purr as he relaxed into Elijah's touches.

Elijah smiled. "Comfortable?" He asked with a small chuckle.
