Ethan held the back of his head as he kissed him. He set Raz back on his feet. "Lets go get you those books yeah?"
Ethan held the back of his head as he kissed him. He set Raz back on his feet. "Lets go get you those books yeah?"
He pulled away and nodded, licking his lips and smiling shyly "yeah, lets." He turned back to the bookshelves and scanned them, captured once more by the intriguing titles and stories they offered
Ethan reluctantly let him go. He smiled, watching Raz. He found it adorable how quickly he became entranced with the books.
Raz turned the corner "there has to be at least one book that you like." He called over his shoulder
Ethan leaned against the bookshelf, smiling at him. "Not really. I told you, I don't read much."
"and I told you were going to try to find a book you like. Hmm…maybe mystery…ooh or a manga…." He pulled out a book and skimmed through it, reading bits and pieces of paragraphs
Ethan shrugged. "I don't know. I don't read." He chuckled. He walked behind him.
He sighed and put the book back on the shelf, not finding any interest in it. "That sentence is non existent in my mind. You said you liked hereing me read….hm, maybe an audio book?"
"I saod I liked hearing you. That doesn't mean I want to hear some random person talking." Ethan said, smirking at him.
Raz crossed his arms over his chest, determined to find something ethan liked "so it's going to take me, reading you a book for you to enjoy it?" he spun on his heal and headed down another isle of books "fine, I can do that."
Ethan laughed. "Yeah, probably." He put his hands in his pockets. He vaguely looked at the book titles.
He nodded "ok." he wandered around the book shelves, picking out a few he though intersting and accumulating a stack in his arms
Ethan held out the bag to him. "Put them in here. I dont want your arms hurting because it's too much weight."
"I've come out of this place with two bag fulls of books twice this stack, I'll be fine." He gasped and awkwardly walked towards a book shelf in the back "you have got to be kidding me right now….20 more?!" He glared at the poster board for a second before turning on his heal and heading to the counter "20 days till it comes out? They keep bumping the date back." He shook his head "this'll be it for now Cara"
Ethan shook his head and tokk some of the books from him anyways. "Well the author probably has a reason for doing that babe." He set the books on the counter and fished his wallet out.
"uh-uh, no way are you paying for all this and dinner last night." Raz protested, taking out his own wallet and handing Cara a gift card.
Ethan sighed. He put his wallet up. "So? I like buying you things. What's wrong with that?" He bumped his shoulder.
He glanced over at him and smiled shyly "i don't know…it makes me feel guilty. Plus you're on a tight budget as it is so I don't want you spending more than you have to, especially on me." He said, thanking cara and putting the books in the bag.
Ethan kissed his cheek. "Never feel guilty about me spending money on you. I want too. Plus, now that I'm moving in with you, I'll have even more money to soend on you."
"true, but I'm still not going to feel ok about you spending money on me." He shouldered his bag of books and headed out "only 3 hours today, not bad." He said, checking the time on his watch "where do you want to go next?"
"Well im going to spemd money on you so deal with it." Ethan ruffled his hair. "Lets go have a picnic. We drop the books off at home and make some sandwhiches. Then go to the park or something and you can read to me."
He nodded with a smile "yeah, that sounds great." He waited up for Ethan and nudged him with his shoulder "So anything, in particular,e you want to read?"
Ethan pulled Raz into his side. "Whatever you want to read darling." He took the bag of books frok him and slung it over his shoulder.
Raz poked his side "I'm fine…." he complained with a laugh "I'm more capable than you thing."
"I know you are, but why carry to much when I can for you." Ethan poked his side right back.
"I want to know how in the world you think I carried everything before I met you." He said, wrapping his arm around Ethan's waist.
Ethan chuckled and kissed his head. "Probably very carefully."
He shrugged "Not bad actually." he pulled out his keys to the house "You can drop the books off in the bedroom, I'm going to find the blanket and Jax's missing leash…"
Ethan laughed. "Alright. Anywhere you want me to put them?" He asked.
He shook his head "Nope, anywhere reachable is fine." He called from a small closet off to the side that served as a storage
